• Students are fully enrolled at Queen Mary University of London (QM). Students may only enroll in a course (module) if
it is listed below. Students who enroll in courses that are not approved by Wake Forest University will not earn any
credit for those courses. All students must maintain full-time enrollment while abroad, which is 12 semester hours.
Students are encouraged to enroll in WFU’s INS 151 Cross-Cultural Engagement Abroad (1hr p/f) which would
increase student hour enrollment to 13 semester hours.
• Courses are not guaranteed to be offered for its associated term. Final course selection depends on available
courses and meetings times. Your final course schedule will be set during the Queen Mary registration period.
• It is the student’s responsibility to speak to their major and minor advisor(s) regarding their abroad
course work and how (or if) it will count towards their degree plan.
• Departmental policies on this program:
o School of Business majors: You must speak with the School of Business concerning your abroad classes
o English majors: A maximum of 3 ENG courses from this program may count toward the ENG major.
o Politics & International Affairs majors: A maximum of 9 hours from this program may count toward the
major or a maximum of 3 hours from this program may count toward the minor. If 9 hours (or 3 hours for
the minor) are counted, no additional domestic transfer credits, AP credits, or courses taken abroad may be
used towards the major.
• NO ART DIVISIONAL CREDIT AVAILABLE ON THIS PROGRAM
• The “QMUL Level” column indicates the academic level at which a module is taught at QMUL
o Level 4: Open to all students
o Level 5: Preference given to students major/minor department
o Level 6: Students who are in the second semester of their junior year at Wake Forest and are a major/minor
in the department have a chance of being accepted
