1. Introduction
Ecological footprint is defined as a call for humanity to be conscious of the negative impact that
right now are causing our behaviour and also to measure the amount of earth`s that we might need
to live if we keep having the same behaviour. Now is time to change our minds, because is not
me, who? and it is not now when? Our planet have no time to wait for a change!
2. Ecological Footprint Family Members
My family only have two (2) members:
My father
Me
My Father
Name:

My Father
Name:

Ecological Footprint:
2.4 Earths
Age: 19 years old
3. Comparison
Comparison between the members of the family
My father has a footprint of 3,4 earths, but me has only 2,4 earths. That shows a difference of
one earth between us. This huge and enormous difference reveal that my father in some cases is
causing more negative impact in our ecosystem, this maybe could be because he is a taxi driver
as a profession, so the emission of CO2 is higher in his case. On the other hand, I usually prefer
The footprint of Ecuador is between 2,5 and 3,5 during the last five years this data is changing.
If we compare the average of my family with the common family of Ecuador we can find the
next results:
2,4 Me
3,4 Father
Average= 2,4+3,4=5,8/2=2.9
Finally, my family has an average of 2,9 that is between (2,5:3,5) the range of Ecuador.
