Referring to the subject mentioned above, I Raudah Binti Abu Hassan from Delicious
Potatoes Baked wish to apply for a business loan with MARA to start a business in bakery.
For your information we are still new in this market and with a plan to start business in pastry
for sale within the campus areas, but we wants to expand to other areas especially Kuala Ketil
and Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Our business is located Kuala Ketil and all the facilities needed to operate our business can be
found there. This business has the potential to gain profit because there are several competitor
only.

However, I do not have sufficient amount of capital to run the business. At this time, I only
have an amount RM5,000. Therefore, I would like to apply for a loan from MARA for an
amount RM20,000 With the loan, I will moving to a suitable premise within the area,
increasing the number of staff, and buying cheaper inventory.

Delicious Potatoes Baked provides quality of potatoes with innovation. The main
objectives are to become the market leader in the production and distribution of pastry in
Malaysia, and sources of different for Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the same field.
Everyone loves to eat foods to make fully like bread. The company plans to distinguish
itself from other competing business by offering quality pastry that can be in any colour
or shape and taste desired by the customers and a price competitive.

Our company will be located at Kuala Ketil. Our business will serve to a customer who
are live around us. Currently, there is some competitor in the same category as Fairy Hot
Bread & Cake House Sdn Bhd in this area. We plan to take full advantages of our
business location by reaching out the current customer in the area.

Delicious Potatoes Baked will operate every day a week starting from 10.00 a.m. until
8.00 p.m. under our own management. The company will have two experienced chef to
make a good and quality of potatoes and pastry. We also have those who are working
financials and taking customer orders.
