Arman : “Oh, why? Is there any problem?”
Nanno : “Yes, I think so.”
Arman : “OK, may I help you to solve your problem?”
Nanno : “Yes, I think I need your help.”
Arman : “OK, I will help you.”
Nanno : “Thanks. I really appreciate your help.”
Arman : “Yes, you’re welcome. Glad to help you.”
2. School holiday is coming soon. You and your family have a plan to go abroad, but do not
have time to surf the internet to find the best place and best deal. Offer your parents to find
the needed information and to arrange the vacation with the tour agent.

Arman : “Mom?”
Arman’s mom : “Yes, honey?”
Arman : “Did you know that school holidays will come soon?”

Arman : “So, where are we going to spend our holidays at school this time?”

Arman : “Sure, no problem.”
3. A friend is absent because she is sick. you visit her this afternoon. Your friend needs your
help to communicate with the teacher about an assignment that she hasn't finished yet. Offer

In a telephone call
Saifah : “Hello, Arm.”
Arman : “Yes, fah? What a coincidence, I was just about to call you.”
Saifah : “Oh, I see.”
Arman : “What’s wrong? I was just about to call you to let you know if this afternoon I
will go to your house to see you. Because Mr. Tommy said, your mother called him and she
said that you couldn't go to school because of illness earlier.”
Saifah : “Yeah, that’s right. Actually, I called you to ask for help.”
Arman : “Oh OK. What kind of help?”
Saifah : “I need you to help me to communicate with Ms. Lisa about my assignment that
I haven’t done it yet.”
Arman : “Sure, I will help you for that.”
Saifah : “Thank you. I really appreciate your help.”
Arman : “Yes. What if we contact Ms. Lisa for communication later when I'm at your
house? I think it will be more effective, because you and I are close together, so you can find
