    It is my great pleasure to personally recommend Emily Brothers for the role of Early Childhood Special
    Education Teacher at Chicago Public Schools. I am currently the speech language pathologist working
    with Emily’s classroom and have collaborated with Emily on Individualized Education Programs and
    goals to assist Emily in increasing each student’s communication. We both started as new professionals at
    the school this year. Emily is a fantastic teacher and a top-notch collaborator. I can assure you that Emily
    is an outstanding teacher who will quickly become an integral member of your school’s community and
    an asset to your special education team.

    Emily’s extensive knowledge of evidenced based practices for students with Autism and special
    education law and procedures was immediately apparent. With her positivity, creativity, and dedication to
    the students she seamlessly integrated herself into her class and effortlessly began teaching, managing
    paraprofessionals, writing Individualized Education Plans, implementing goals and services, and
    collaborating with a wide array of professionals (speech language pathologist, occupational therapists,
    behavioral analyst, etc.). Her dedication to the success of her students and willingness to learn new
    techniques is rare and unmatched.

    Since she began teaching, Emily utilized evidenced based practices, such as the Picture Exchange
    Communication System to improve her student’s overall communicative intent. Her particularly adept use
    of picture icons, visual schedules, and positive reinforcement systems enabled her to implement a solid
    routine for her students. I am confident she will continue to produce such results at any school and will
    quickly become new favorite among the students, parents, and team members.

    I have no reservations giving Emily Brothers my highest recommendation for this position. I am
