    Facts Around the Clock

    The extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine ( ECQ ) extracted mixed reactions among the
    Filipinos.

    Those in favour said that it is the wise decision since the increase of cases has not yet reached the peak.
    Cutting the ECQ short may catapult the statistics in the top.

    On the other hand those who opposed the extension are said to be considering the economic side of the
    equation. There were people who really are dependent for work for their income. A long-time of no
    employment will really bring them to the portals of starvation.

    I see a dilemma on the part of the government in making a decision. It may not be perfect. There is the
    reality of risk.

    In that case, we need to do our part and hope for the best.

    Pangasinan is one of the areas which may not have extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine
    comes April 30, 2020

    We are hoping for that , considering that there is less than 40 confirmed Covid Patients in the province,
    we are not a high risks area.

    May we all cooperate to stay home so that by April 30, we can already experience normal life again with
    precaution of course.

    Many students who are supposed to graduate this semester will have the most unforgettable
    graduation in their generation – NO graduation ceremonies!

    Well what is important is the substance not the form.

    Legally you are graduates and your school will give you the credentials you need!

    You may have a Virtual Graduation.

    In the “New Normal “ which is to be implemented later, the classes in schools will not be face to face
    anymore. This is to abide by the social distancing rule.

    Many are asking how will that be.

    Some options are online classes. Video conferencing and similar approaches
    The educational system really changed in a moment. Technology will now play a vital role.

    Though most students complain they have no gadgets and they have poor internet connection. It is time
    to realized that those things are now basic needs in education

    Recently I was surprized at the scenario of relief goods confiscated because they were not from the
    relief goods from the government I expressed my sentiment that it is not justifiable to block those reliefs
    just because they were given by others not the LGU.

    After a few hours however I saw another confrontation by the police and group of people giving relief
    goods because these people are also giving propaganda newspaper to the people, convincing them to
    protest against the government.

    There , I saw the reason why not all relief goods are allowed.

    Health Secretary Francisco Duque III was asked by some senators to resign in the middle of crisis.

    If according to them, he is not performing well, why they did not set a dialogue with him?

    I commend the Secretary for not allowing that circumstance to discourage him from doing his work.

    When you watch the TV and turn on your WiFi you wil be bombarded with bad news from all over the
    world.

    Discerning any good news in the midst of bad news requires a consciousness which not everyone has.

    The number of recoveries are increasing.

    The front liners continue to serve sacrificing their own lives

    Reliefs are given to those who have nothing to eat.

    Soldiers and police are implementing discipline among the people.

    The government ia doing something

    These are the GOOD NEWS
