Pāḷi Numbers
(Saṅkhyā)

This is a list of commonly found Pāḷi numbers which occur in the

literature. Besides giving integers, I have also given fractions where
I have noticed they occur, and have added the different forms that
are found.

For the first ten numbers I have also included their ordinal form in
rounded brackets, after ten they continue simply by adding -ma as
the suffix, as in examples 7-10 given below.

The numbers go sequentially up to 105, and other, theoretical,

numbers can be inferred from the given examples. After that I have
given only forms that I have found used in the Pāḷi books.

As always I am hoping this will be of use to the Pāḷi student, and

make reference to numbers easier for those studying and using the
language.
