Teacher Learning Area General Mathematics
Teaching Date and Time Quarter First
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the
objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and
remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are
I. OBJECTIVES assessed using Formative Assessment Strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content
and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly
objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of functions.
B. Performance The learner is able to accurately construct mathematical models to represent
Standards real-life situations using functions.
Learning Competency: Solves problems involving functions. (M11GM-Ia-4)

Learning Objectives:
Competencies/
1. Identify what are given and what is asked in the problem
Objectives
2. Solve problems involving functions
3. Demonstrate cooperation in group activity

B. Other Learning Resources
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that
pupils/students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the pupils/
students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically
IV. PROCEDURES by providing pupils/students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice the learning, question
their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life
experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.
The teacher calls for volunteers to recall of what transpired in the previous

presenting the new lesson
B. Establishing a purpose for
the lesson

C. Presenting examples/
instances of the new lesson
D. Discussing new concepts
and practicing new skills
The teacher presents one more problem for students to try solving.
(Contextualization & Localization)
Problem: Bryan charges P25 for every page of encoding work. In addition,
E. Developing mastery
he charges P8 per page of printed output. How much will Bryan charge for 33-
page encoding and printing work?

F. Finding practical
applications of concepts
and skills in daily living
G. Making generalizations and
abstractions about the
lesson
H. Evaluating Learning Solve the problem
1) A mall charges P25 for the first hour or a fraction of an hour as parking fee.
An additional P25 is charged for every additional hour, or a fraction of an hour
of parking. The parking area operates from 7 AM to 12 midnight every day.
a. Write a function rule for the problem
b. How much will be charged to a car owner who parked a car from 7 AM to
1:30 PM
c. How much will be charged to a car owner who parked a car from 8:30 AM
to 11:15
PM?
I. Additional activities or Checking of the work shall take place so that if there is a need for clarification
remediation then it will be clarified.
V. REMARKS

questions.
A. No. of learners who earned 80% of
the evaluation
B. No. of learners who require
additional activities for
remediation who scored below
80%
C. Did the remedial lesson work? No.
of learners who have caught up
with the lesson.
D. No. of learners who continue to
require remediation
E. Which of my teaching strategies
worked well? Why did these work?
