Shutoff valves EQA 17-25-27

INTRODUCTION
This valves have been designed to protect gas systems against
overpressure or too low pressure (17 AB model). They are installed
upstream of regulator, with a control line conected downstream,
acording to the scheme (see next page). Regulator outlet pressure
is registred by one side of the diaphragm in shutoff valve. When an
excessive rise or decrease in outlet pressure equals the set
pressure of main spring, the stem moves stopping flow completely.
To restablish it, a reset button has to be activated, once the problem
has been solved.
-Positive shutoff
After closing, shutoff valve stays closed until the system is reseted. EQA 17-25-27

Tight shutoff of elastomeric seat in plug assembly provides effective

isolation.
-Easy manteinance
Seat, diaphragm and filter can be replaced without removing body
from line.
