SECURITY MEASURES
1. Danger and residual hazards
Working with tractors and agricultural machinery requires the operator a deep knowledge of the tasks to
perform and careful verification of safety procedures.
It is essential to be fully aware of potential hazards caused by carelessness or negligence, to the
operator and third parties, during work activity and after it.
GALUCHO knows its clients are fundamental to their social environment, to their families and their
agricultural complex. Aiming to prevent any accident or hazard, we warmly commend that following safety
rules are respected:
1 – When coupling any tool to the tractor, please use only the spot the manufactured has determined,
checking if all the components are correctly assembled and coupled.
2 – In any occasion, motivated by repairing, inspection, assembling or any other reason, never place
your body under the machine without holding first conveniently
3 – When turning on the tractor’s hydraulic system, please make sure that any component – the
machine, the trailer, the lifter or any other – may hurt any person around.
4 – Never authorize any people to use the machine as a transport, during work as well as on the road.
The same applies to being near working milling cutters and similar, top avoid any potential rock or wood
stick tossing during the activity.
5 – Never hop-out a moving vehicle. If you need to do it, please stop the vehicle and the engine first.
6 – Always use protection plates on the transmission belts linked to the engine’s power take-off.
7 – Always use frontal counterweight over the wheels, when you notice the tractor’s steering is too light
and the vehicle tends to rear. In case that situation happens, take special care while working and on the
road.
8 – Please remind the hazard tends to increase proportionally to the upward or downward gradient of
the terrain in which you are working or moving. It is essential to be extremely careful, taking into account the
slope gradient, especially lateral ones, and to avoid working on those conditions.
PERSONAL SAFETY:
If you follow all the previous advice you will prevent most of the hazards and accidents. Those are our
true and best safety wishes.

USAGE PROCEDURE
1. Inspecting before using the machine
1.1 The following condition must be checked before starting to use the machine:
1.2 Daily general check-list, general maintenance, cracks or fissures, oil leaks, safety elements,
protections, safety signs.
1.3 Daily operational check-list, general maintenance.
1.4 Assembly
All ploughs of this series are sent assembled to the client. However, if for any reason something
is shipped disassembled, to mount it you will need:
Raise and secure with the screw the two bars of the third point and their anchor.
You must mount each set of the frame disc, which can be accomplished using the respective
screw in the central hole of the landside.
Then you should tighten the screws that connects the furrow wheel set to the existing anchor
which is placed on the last disc.
You should put the anchor on the respective support and fix it with a pin.
Once the plough assembling is done, check if everything is in order, and like any other mounted
machine, you must proceed to its connection to the tractor's hydraulic system, keeping in mind the
following possible adjustments of the headstock:
- Different coupling hypotheses of the third point bar of the tractor to enable a more efficient
action of the automatic depth control.
- Two mounting position in height of the pins, in order to have a better adaptation to the tractor,
depending on the brand or model.
Once the plough is coupled to the tractor, you must take off the anchors and place them on the
opposite position.
You should test the lifting to check if everything is alright.

2.2 Regulations
To reach the excellent work quality expected in this ploughs design you must adjust them
conveniently, as indicated:
2.2.1- Horizontality
Acting on the tractors hanger, so that the hydraulic's inferior arms have the same
length, you must adjust the transversal horizontality.
Lengthening or shortening the 3rd point bar of the tractor, you adjust the longitudinal
horizontality.
Plays a key role in the stability of the plough in work, being responsible for guiding it so
that it does not deviate from the trench, which is motivated by the effort made by the means of
the work of the discs while considering the direction of travel of the tractor.
Triggering the tuning nut, you can push up or down the wheel depending on what you pretend.
