    Applications
    Scania Oil LDF-3 FS 5W-20 is a synthetic engine oil for heavy vehicles. It has been developed to
    provide extended oil change intervals and it has been specially developed to reduce the total cost of
    ownership. An advantage in today's highly competitive markets.

    In both field and rig tests this oil has been proven to have superior fuel economy when compared
    with conventional 10W-40 oils. It manages cold starts excellently and provides extra protection
    against the intensive heat in today's diesel engines.

    Scania Oil LDF-3 FS 5W-20 provides excellent protection against wear, oxidation, soot and deposits
    and is also superior in terms of performance with regard to engine service life.

    • The oil is primarily developed for Euro 6 engines with exhaust gas aftertreatment system. For
    these engines it is important that the oil transfer to the exhaust gases does not reduce the effi-
    ciency of sensors, catalytic converters and particulate filters.
    • Scania LDF-3 FS 5W-20 is fully backward compatible with the older Euro 5 engines.

    Properties
    • The Scania LDF-3 FS 5W-20 specification is a unique combination, an engine oil which is specif-
    ically designed to obtain maximum fuel economy, ensure the service life of the engine as well as
    extended oil change intervals.
    • Scania LDF-3 FS 5W-20 protects against soot wear, carbon deposits and deposits on the piston
    and in the engine. It reduces the maintenance requirement and the risk of unplanned downtime
    even in extreme operating conditions.

    Advantages of Scania Oil LDF-3 FS 5W-20


    • Excellent fuel economy when compared with conventional 10W-40 oils. This oil gives lower fuel
    consumption from the first start (factory filling).
    • Synthetic base oils allow for longer oil change intervals of up to 120,000 km, beyond regular min-
    eral base oils.
    • Minimized oil consumption.
    • Environmentally friendly. Amount of CO2 in exhaust gases is reduced through lower fuel con-
    sumption, contributing to a sustainable environment.

    Storage
    All containers should be stored under cover away from sources of ignition. If outdoor storage is una-
    voidable, the drum should be placed in a horizontal position to prevent moisture from entering and
    the markings on the drum from disappearing. The product must not be exposed to direct sunlight or
    stored in a temperature falling below 0°C or exceeding 60°C. The container must be closed when not
    in use.
