Signal Routing:
The VS-XO is truly 2 pedals in 1 housing. For basic setup, use the Drive-1 input and the
Drive-2 output. You may also change the order of effects by plugging your guitar or bass into
the Drive-2 input, use a short cable from the Drive-2 output to the Drive-1 input, and then go
out from the Drive-1 output. For anything other than the basic setup, just think of the VS-XO
as 2 pedals.
Battery:
If you have a battery installed, make sure to unplug both Input and Output when not using, so
you don’t drain the battery. Then again, why are you using a battery? Get a 1 SPOT!
Switch pop?
For the first 45 seconds after applying power to the pedal, the sound of foot-switch pop is
normal, due to the time it takes for power supply filter capacitors to charge fully. After that,
unlike ordinary true-bypass switches, switch pop goes away.
The Tone knob on Drive-2 works different than on Drive-1… what’s it doing?
The Drive-2 Tone knob affects both treble and gain at the same time. As you turn it up, treble
increases dramatically, while gain increases slightly.
