COURSE DESCRIPTION:

In this course, students will be introduced to principles and current technologies of multimedia systems. The topics included in this course are color theory, image design, photography,
video production, and interactive presentations. The students will increase their hands-on skill in those areas by employing some components of a multimedia as they create term projects. Most
recent Web technologies and some advanced topics in modern multimedia research will also be discussed.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

In this course, students will be introduced to principles and current technologies of multimedia systems. The topics included in this course are color theory, image design, photography,
video production, and interactive presentations. The students will increase their hands-on skill in those areas by employing some components of a multimedia as they create term projects. Most
recent Web technologies and some advanced topics in modern multimedia research will also be discussed.

1.STUDENTS MUST COME TO CLASS PREPARED, ATTEND CLASS REGULARLY AND PARTICIPATE ACTIVELY IN THE CLASS EXERCISES, DISCUSSION AND GROUP
ACTIVITIES.
2.STUDENNTS WHO CONSISTENTLY DISTURB THE CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SESSION.
3.USE OF MOBILE DEVICES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED UNLESS YOU ARE PERMITTED TO DO SO.
4.ALL TESTS ARE TO BE TAKEN ON SCHEDULED DATES. SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS SHALL BE GIVEN ONLY FOR HIGHLY JUSTIFIABLE REASONS.
5. COURSE REQUIREMENTS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ON TIME, REQUIREMENTS SUBMITTED LATE SHALL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE INSTRUCTOR

6.CHEATING IS AN UNACCEPTABLE ACADEMIC BEHAVIOR. ANY STUDENT CAUGHT CHEATING DURING AN EXAMINATION WILL GET A SCORE OF ZERO FOR THAT
PARTICULAR EXAMINATION.
7.STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO GIVE THEIR BEST EFFORT IN STUDYING THE SUBJECT.
8.STUDENTS MUST COME TO CLASS IN COMPLETE UNIFORM.
9.AVOID COMING LATE.

1. STUDENTS ARE PROHIBITED TO ENTER THE LAB UNLESS
AUTHORIZED BY YOUR INSTRUCTOR.
2. SCAN ANY EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE BEFORE USING THEM.
3. REPORT ANY PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE SYSTEM TO YOUR
INSTRUCTOR.
4. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR WITH LAB EQUIPMENT.
5. BE RESPONSIBLE WHEN USING EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE AND
FACILITIES IN THE LAB.
6. DO NOT MOVE ANY EQUIPMENT FROM ITS ORIGINAL POSITION.
7. DO NOT REMOVE OR LOAD ANY SOFTWARE INTO THE
COMPUTER.
8. DO NOT CHANGE THE SETTINGS IN THE COMPUTER.
9. SAVE ALL YOUR WORKS IN TO YOUR EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE & NOT IN THE COMPUTER.
10. DO NOT BRING IN BAGS, FOOD AND DRINKS INTO THE LAB.
11. TURN OFF THE COMPUTERS ACCORDINGLY AFTER USE.
12. SWITCH OFF ALL POWER SUPPLIES BEFORE LEAVING THE LAB.
13. INTERNET FACILITIES ARE STRICTLY FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY.
14. THE LAB SHOULD BE KEPT CLEAN AND TIDY AT ALL TIMES.
