    Subject: Request for Extension of Time.

    Dear Sir,

    We are continuing to pursue the completion of our project swiftly as reasonably possible under
    the prevailing conditions. We have, however, encountered certain delays to our performance
    that are inevitable in nature. We have kept your field representatives informed of these delays
    and of their effect on project tracking. You may be assured that we will seek diligently to minimize
    the effects of these delays on our project.

    Specifically, we have been delayed in the following areas and ways: (Delays and its causes.)

    1. Late provision of IFC Drawings of Residential Colony, for which we have furnished
    reminder two times.
    2. Dispute of land allocated to residential colony and Demarcation problems.
    3. Unexpected Hard weather conditions i.e. heavy monsoon rainfall in month of August and
    flood thereafter.
    4. Variations in design of power house.

    Accordingly, we hereby request an extension of at least 90(number) days to our contract


    completion date to take into consideration the above delays.

    These delays also had a serious effect on the cost of performance. They have required additional
    time along with additional costs for supervision, overtime, disruption, overhead, equipment
    rentals, and productivity losses for our field labor. Accordingly, another request will be made for
    additional compensation for all costs resulting from these delays and disruptions.

    If we can be of any help in expediting the resolution of these problems, please let us know. Your
    cooperation in minimizing this impact will be appreciated.
