I have found WYSETRADE & Investopedia but was wondering if any one has used them or know
of better ones.
Really trying to increase my knowledge on TA's to full understand the charts a lot better.

You'll notice a lot of amateur traders rely on a couple indicators they like. The problem is, any
single indicator can be wrong and are usually lagging. The more successful ones have read book
after book, spent their 10,000 hours to gain mastery, and observe damn near every indicator
there is, making their moves when many of them align. Good luck in your venture, I think that if
you're serious about it then it's a commitment to being a student for life. I can't comment on
lessons, just books and books upon books.

Thanks mate, I am in my mid years of my life, and I have finally found something I have a passion
for ( apart from my wife and kids ). I agree with you, you really need to put the hours in to
master anything in life.
The courses on wysetrade and investopedia look interesting, as well I will have a good look
around Amazon for some books as well.

you might reach out to @ReformedEquityTrader if you haven't already, or @bachmama and
@Nouknitouk as well as the king, @Elitefoo. These people have all provided some really
interesting insight over the past year in regards to crypto and may have some great reading
material available for you.

Buy a book. The bible. Murphy. Technical Analysis of the financial markets. Can be found on
amazon. Absolute killer.

Also, "High Probability Trading" by Marcel Link and "The Logical Trader " by Mark Fisher.
I would also add that knowing TA is only the beginning of understanding trading.
Best of luck.

@RegalChicken @bachmama @ReformedEquityTrader thanks guys for the info on books to read,
I will jump on amazon and order them now.
I have just started some courses on Investopedia, ( Trading for beginners, Technical Analysis &
Become a Day Trader ).
I have been buying and selling crypto for just on a year now, learnt a fair bit from trial and error,
but I am half way through the (Trading for beginners) & have realised I am very lucky to have
come out in front.
I was trading with high risk strategies, and going with gut feeling alone ?
I feel very excited with my long term hold with XRP, and the more I am learning the more I am
looking forward to day & swing trade other cryptos.
Plus I hope to turn Day & Swing trading from a hobby to a full time job with in 12 months.

Small tip: You can test you TA skills by opening a demo account on cmc markets or any other fx
platform that let´s you manage a play stash (no real money involved). So before you throw any
real money around (especially in crypto), try to play the 5 or 15 min game there.
That being said one disclaimer, you play poker different with real money in the pot rather than
playing for fun. But playing for fun lets you learn the game.
Always use 3-5 indicators. Never one alone. Concentrate on the basics of:
3. Volume
4. Moving averages
5. RSI
6. MACD
in the beginning. I usually don´t use them in crypto, but Bollingers are also a good way to analyse
movement. With these indicators you are busy for the next months until you can read and use
them together in a more reliable way. If you are better than 50% in judging the next move, you
are doing very good. Good luck.

Thanks @bachmama
That is some solid advice, as I am learning more, using a demo account would be a great way to
gauge my TA newly learned skills.
Using a min of 3 indicators, is something I have heard of before & it is good to hear you mention
that as well, I thought it would be a better way of increasing my chances of making a good trade.
With a bit of hard work and study, in 12 mths hopefully i can be helping out other traders with
TA advice like you guys do.

Nick .. in addition to the sage advice given above, RET had once recommended ‘Japanese
Candlestick Charting Techiques’ ... I’d had that one, and the Murphy book on my list for a while,
and bought them as a package on Amazon not too long ago, along with the study guide for
Murphy (which has been REALLY helpful) ... if the link works, scroll down to ‘frequently bought
together’.
