INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
In cutting multiple thin strips with the same thickness, the existing
featherboard does not have a adjustable alignment stopper that will guide
the wood to the blade, rather the existing featherboard needs to manually re-
align by unlocking, removing, reversing and re-adjusting before continuing
cutting another piece also another problem is that when you adjust the miter
gauge, chances are the flexible fingers will move when you put the wood
back and that can lead to errors in cutting.
1. Design a prototype.
2. Fabricate and Develop the prototype.
3. Test and evaluate the prototype to be used in order to satisfy the
desired product.
4. Gather, analyze and interpret results.
