watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
7 Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in.

9 High tensile steel wires/strands including all accessories for stressing, stressing operations and

10 Guniting concrete surface with cement mortar applied with compressor after cleaning surface
and spraying with epoxy complete as per Technical Specification
Providing and laying of Filter media with granular materials/stone crushed
aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of
MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size
towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment,
11 wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and
Technical Specification

12 Providing and laying boulders apron on river bed for protection against scour with stone boulders
weighing not less than 40 kg each complete as per drawing and Technical specification
Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall/ return wall with
13 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V :20H towards

SPECIFICATIONS
1.      Reinforcement bars(FE-500D) shall be used conformingto IS:1786-2008. GI wire should be used for binding.

2.      Grade of concrete shall be used as under –
(i) Foundation, abutments, abutment caps, piers,pier caps, ballast retainer, return walls = M-35
(ii) Toe wall= M-25

3.      100mm diameter GI/PVC pipes shall be provided as weep holes in abutments and return walls above lowest wate

4.      Super structure should be as per standard RDSODRG. NO. B-10257 for 6.10mPSC slab for 25T-2008 loading.

5.      Back filling material shall be provided behind the abutmentand wing wall, conforming to clause no. 7.5 of IRS b

6.      Proposed bridge is on the same metre Guage alignment.

7.      Clear cover of 75mm shall be provided at pier, pier cap,abutment and return wall.

8.      Slab unit should be provided with a uniform bedding by placing it over layer of stiff and consistent cement paste 

9.      Return wall and abutment should be painted with coal tar epoxy at the earthfill side.

10.  Coarse sand of 200mm should be filled after dressing.

11.  Rubble soiling of 300mm should be filled above sand filling for PCC layer.
