Effective July 1st, 2006, the European Directive 2002/95/EC -“Restriction of Hazardous Substanc es” (RoHS), its
recast 2011/65/EU of June 8th, 2011, the Delegated Directive (E U) 2015/863 of March 31st 2015, restrict the use in
Europe in certain electrical and/or electronic equipments of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium,
polybrominated biphenyls (PBB ), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) flame retardant, and from July 22nd 2019,
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DE HP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Diisobutyl phthalat e
(DIBP).
Schneider Electric has decided to make RoHS compliance of its products one of its priorities, even if they do not fall
in RoHS scope, and most of Schneider Electric products are RoHS compliant. This stance is fully in line wit h
Schneider Electric environmental policy and EN50581 standard.
The information below provides the current product status according to regulation in force at the date of public ation
of this present document. A ny future changes, either in product design or in the Directive may change the status
reported here. In case the product is inside the legal scope of RoHS, please not e that this document is not the CE
