Quick Tasmpa (roasted barley flour porridge) Recipe

Modify Ingredients according to your dietary needs/recommendations

Recipe Ingredients (Serving size 4):


1 cup Tsampa (roasted barley flour)
4 cups milk (preferably goat milk)
1 teaspoon organic ghee
1 cup of blueberries + banana + raisins
4 pods of cracked green cardamom
brown sugar to taste

Directions:

Pour milk and ghee into pot and bring to boil.

Immediately set temperature to low, making sure milk


does not boil over.

Using a standard size whisk, add tsampa into pot of milk,


whisking thoroughly until tsampa turns to a creamy
texture (almost like Cream of Wheat hot cereal). This
should take about 4-5 minutes.

Add fruit cup and cardamom and brown sugar whisk for
2 mins or until fruits melt into tsampa.

Using a ladle, scoop out 1 cup of tsampa porridge into


each bowl.

Sprinkle pinch of cinnamon + nutmeg powder (optional.)
