Yogurt is a dairy product made by fermenting milk with a yogurt culture.

Yogurts can be high in protein,


calcium, vitamins and live cultures (probiotics).

HOW TO MAKE PLAIN YOGURT


Ingredients:
 1 cup instant milk powder
 3 cups lukewarm water
 4 tablespoons yogurt (with live cultures)

Procedures:
 Pour 1 cup of powdered milk into a pot.
 Add 1 cup of lukewarm water and mix it well to dissolve the milk
 Add the remaining 2 cups of water and stir well
 Place the pot on a medium heat and stir it constantly till it boils
 Bring it down and let it cool till about 44°C (or warm to touch)
 Add the yogurt into warm milk and mix thoroughly
 Pour it into a container and seal tightly
 Cover it with a plastic bag, blanket or thick cloth to maintain the temperature.
 Place it in a warm environment for 8-12 hours
 After 8 hours, your yogurt is ready.
HOW TO MAKE GREEK YOGURT
Ingredients/tools needed:
 Plain yogurt
 Cheese cloth
 Bowl

Instructions:
Pour the plain yogurt into a cheese cloth to drain out the whey.

You will be left with a thicker yogurt which is Greek yogurt.

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY YOGURT

Ingredients
 2 cups Greek yogurt
 1 cup of strawberry
 Add any sweetener of your choice (optional)

Procedures:
 Add all ingredients to your blender
 Blend until it is well combined.
 Pour it into a container and refrigerate
 Your strawberry yogurt is ready
HOW TO MAKE MANGO YOGURT
Ingredients
 1.5 cups Greek yogurt
 2 medium mangoes
 Add any sweetener of your choice (optional)

Procedures:
 Blend/grind strawberries until it is smooth

Ingredients:
 2 cups Greek yogurt
 1 cup of strawberry
 Add any sweetener of your choice (optional)

Procedures:
 Add all ingredients to your blender.
 Blend until it is well combined
 Pour it into a container and refrigerate
 Your mango yogurt is ready
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE YOGURT
Ingredients
 2 cups plain yogurt
 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder or you can use 4 tablespoons of milo
 Add any sweetener of your choice (optional)

Procedures:
 Mix cocoa powder and your sweetener
 Add a little water to dissolve the cocoa powder
 Add it to your plain yogurt and mix until it is well combined
 Your chocolate yogurt is ready

HOW TO MAKE YOGURT PARFAIT


Yogurt Parfait often contains yogurt, granola, fruits and nuts.

Ingredients:
 Yogurt
 Fruits (strawberry, blueberries, grapes, apple, etc)
 Granola
 Fruit jam
 Nuts (peacans, almonds, cashew, etc)

HOW TO MAKE VANILLA ICE CREAM
 2 cups whipping or heavy cream
 1 cup condensed milk
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 Sugar (optional)

Procedures:
 Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and whisk with a mixer until it has stiff peaks.
 Add the condensed milk and vanilla extract and mix well untill it is fluffy.
 Put in freezer for 6 hours
 Your ice cream is ready

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM


Ingredients:
 1 cups whipping or heavy cream
 Strawberry puree (blended strawberries)
 Sugar (optional)

Procedures:
 Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and whisk with a mixer until it has soft peaks.
 Add the condensed milk and strawberry puree and mix well untill it is fluffy
 Put in freezer for 6 hours
 Your ice cream is ready

HOW TO MAKE MANGO ICE CREAM


 1 cups whipping or heavy cream
 Mango puree (blend 2 mangoes)
 Sugar (optional)

Procedures:
 Pour the whipping cream into a bowl and whisk with a mixer until it has soft peaks.
 Add the condensed milk and mango puree and mix well untill it is fluffy
 Put in freezer for 6 hours
 Your ice cream is ready
HOW TO MAKE ZOBO DRINK (ROSELLE/SORREL DRINK)
Ingredients
 4 cups Zobo leaves/ sorrel leaves
 2-3 litres of water
 Pineapple or oranges (blend for sweetness)
 6 thumbs of Ginger
 2 tbsps Cloves (Konafuru)
 1 Cinnamon stick/ 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
 Honey (optional) when serving.

Procedures:
 Wash/ Rinse Hibiscus leaves/ Zobo leaves to remove any dust/ dirt.
 Place washed leaves into a large pot, add cloves and cinnamon stick. Pour water and place on
medium heat.
 Wash and peel ginger and pineapple.
 Add pineapple back and core into the tea
 Cut the flesh of the pineapple into small pieces and blend with ginger and water till smooth
 Put mixture into tea and bring to a boil.
 Once it has come to boil. Set a timer and cook for 5-10 minutes on low heat
 Leave tea to sit for at least 2 hours (I leave to sit overnight for the most intense flavour).
 Run tea through a sieve and then through a fine cloth/ cheese cloth.
 Pour Zobo drink into a jug and chill before serving.
 Serve with ice cubes and cucumber/ Lemon and sweeten with honey as desired.

Important Notes
 Get the dark red ones as they contain the highest percentage of Vitamin C
 Effective for reducing risk for anxiety, hypertension and diabetes.
 Cook for only 10 minutes or less.
