V. Course Description:
The course deals with the teacher as an individual, classroom teacher, community teacher and global teacher. This emphasizes
professionalization to cover teachers’ status and levels of professional rewards and professionalism to improve competencies.
VI. Course Outcomes : At the end of the course, the students of the CTE shall be able to
1. State and Discuss the IPVMO, Core Values of the University and the University policies,
the VMO of the CTE and its Program Objectives and Outcomes.
2. Define roles of teachers as individuals and classroom managers
3. Identify the responsibilities of a global teacher
4. Discuss the various aspects of teaching as a profession
5. Internalize the values of a professional teacher
6. Reflect on one’s involvement in the teaching profession
7. Arrange the Basic Education Curriculum Reform from 1946 - 2018
