    CHP556 – FOX660 – Multiservice Utility


    MUX for TDM Transport

    Course goal
    This course provides a thorough and practical introduction to the FOX660 equipment as TDM Transport
    Multiplexer. After the successful completion of the course, the participants will be familiar with the PDH-
    SDH features and interfaces, the basic Ethernet features and interfaces, the applications and options of
    the FOX660. They will be able to configure and maintain the equipment in a SDH network.

    The participants will be able to: — FOX660 Features and Applications
    — List the overall FOX660 features, applica- — Equipment Architecture and Options
    tions, architecture and options — SDH and E1 Connectivity
    — Apply the FOX660 features, application and — TDM Redundancy and Protection
    architecture used for TDM Transport — TDM Synchronization
    — Apply the different options of — Basic Ethernet features
    accessing/managing the FOX660 — Equipment Configuration with FOXMAN-CT
    — Configure the FOX660 using the FOXMAN-CT — Management Communication
    — Configure the PDH/ SDH main features and — Cyber Security
    interfaces — Maintenance
    — Configure the basic Ethernet features
    — Summarize and interpret the maintenance Course type
    and alarm/status reporting functions This is a face to face class room training with
