    To safely remove the mixer pipe from the engine, wear protective gloves since surfaces may be hot. Remove two hose clamps from the mixer pipe hose and venturi, then remove three bolts securing the mixer pipe to the cold boost pipe. Pull out the mixer pipe and seal from the cold boost pipe, and discard the single-use hose and seal.

    2  Removal of the Mixer Pipe


    Remove as follows:

    PERSONAL INJURY
    To avoid injury from hot surfaces, wear protective gloves, or allow engine to cool before removing any
    component.
    Notice:
    Prior to performing the removal steps, ensure that the mixer pipe is not hot.
    Note: The hose is a one-time use item.
    Show/Hide Checkboxes
    1. Remove two hose clamps from hose on mixer pipe and venturi.
    2. Remove three bolts securing mixer pipe to cold boost pipe.
    3. Remove mixer pipe and seal from cold boost pipe.
    4. Remove and discard hose and seal.
