Email Templates
For Startups
Introduction

The average worker spends 11 hours per week on email maintenance.

If you look at that on a yearly basis, that is enough time to bake 1160
batches of 30-minute brownies.

More worrisome than the actual time we spend on actioning emails,

however, is the amount of mental energy we spend thinking about,
drafting, and fretting over emails. Everyone is guilty of waiting too long
to send an email just because they didn’t want to actually think up and
write the copy for said email. This isn’t always a bad thing - sometimes
we turn this delay into some healthy procrastination and complete every
other possible task just to avoid sending that dreaded email.

Well, we are here to take that excuse away from you - with these
email templates you’ll no longer be able to spend 2 hours editing the
animations in your next presentation because there is a simple email you
don’t want to send (your presentation will still be fabulous, regardless).

We hope you use these email templates to help you have easier, more
productive, and less stressful days.

Sincerely,
The HubSpot for Startups Team

Template #4: The Break-Up

Hi [Name],

We are in the process of closing files for the month. Typically when I
haven’t heard back from someone it means they’re either really busy or
aren’t interested.

If you aren’t interested, do I have your permission to close your file?

If you’re still interested, what do you recommend as a next step?

Thanks for your help.

Template 7: Testimonial Request

Hi [name],

I don’t believe we crossed paths while you were working with [your

[reason they would give a testimonial].

We’re looking to feature a few of our best customers who [reason they

Would you be open to having a featured quote on our Testimonials

but something to show why you chose [your company] or your best
experience with us would be great.

Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind, and thanks in advance
for your consideration!
