    KEY FACTS AND CONDITIONS ABOUT MLAMU HEALTH SAVINGS & LOANS SERVICE. (PLEASE ONLY SIGN AFTER YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD
    AND AGREED TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THIS SERVICE)

    KEY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    a) Minimum Lock in period for savings is 3 Months.


    b) A bonus is to be earned on savings after every 3 Calendar months if not used or withdrawn.
    c) Deposits can be made anytime for a minimum amount of UGX 2,000.
    d) Deposits will be accepted in form of Cash, Over the top counter deposits, Mobile Money or any other electronic means that will be communicated
    from time to time.
    e) Account opening balance: UGX 2,000
    f) The Savings Account is offered in partnership with KCB Bank (U) Limited and the Loans are provided by Four One Financial Services Limited. Please
    understand that your savings are not inter-mediated (used for loans to others).
    g) You Authorize MLAMU to make payments on your behalf for Health and loans related expenditure if approved by the Custodian (KCB Bank).
    h) Account statements are free online but printed ones will cost UGX 5,000 per page.
    i) Withdraws will be processed in a maximum of 72 hours.
    j) No administrative fees or monthly fees are to be charged on your MLAMU Account.
    k) Withdraws and account closure before 1 year (counted on when funds were first deposited) will attract a fee of 1% on the total amount to be
    withdrawn.
    l) Any loan requests granted will be charged a service fee of 7% per 30 days, payable in not more than 60 days
    m) MLAMU (Mayicard) Contact-less Cards are charged at UGX 6,000.

    a) Secure and convenient way to make Health/Emergency Savings and to grow your savings habit.
    b) Access a to Healthcare/ emergency loan secured against your savings of up to 3 times the amount you have saved with a maximum of UGX 500,000 .
    c) Ability to withdraw or share with loved ones part of your savings anytime.

    FURTHER POINTS TO CONSIDER

    HOW TO DEPOSIT MONEY ONTO YOUR ACCOUNT: You can pay money into your account in any of the following ways; Over the Counter through KCB Bank
    Branches, Cash Deposits at MLAMU Service Centers/Agents, Bank Transfers and Standing Orders, USSD (through Mobile Money Networks like MTN & Airtel) or
    as will be communicated from time to time.

    Tax implications: Withholding tax/excise duty where applicable will be charged and debited off your account.

    Account Closure: You may close your account at any time after 3months of saving. To close your account, you will have to put it in writing and there will be a
    charge of 1% of your savings if you have held the account for less than 1 year or the funds have not been in the account for 1 Year.
