The passage discusses various types of verbal and non-verbal intelligence tests including matrix tests, word association tests, analogy tests, coding and decoding tests etc.

Verbal intelligence tests discussed include analogy tests, word association tests, and general knowledge tests. Non-verbal tests discussed include matrix tests, thematic apperception tests, and physiological situational tests.

Word association test provides stimuli words to assess how well a candidate can understand and originate new ideas. It gives 50 words in 15 seconds each to use as stimulus like love, fortune, power etc.

object. Candidates are advised that while using a word as stimulus, not to write lengthy
sentences. Meaningful and brief sentences are very helpful.
