Most people who answered this question really like online shopping. I like it too, and I
think it is part of the wave of the future. It is certainly convenient, and it cuts out a lot of
auto traffic which causes air pollution, consumption of the diminishing supply of
petroleum, accidents, deaths, frustration, stress, and other bad things. However, there
are things about online shopping that I really don't like. One is that I don't like giving out
my credit card number over the internet. I have already had one serious problem from
this. Another thing I dislike is having to return merchandise. What a hassle! And it often
costs money for shipping things back to the store. This is after you've waited a week or
two to get the things in the first place. Then there is the delivery problem. If you buy
things that will fit in your mailbox it's okay, but otherwise there is the risk of having a big
box dumped outside the door of your house or apartment and somebody walking off with
it. The businesses that sell online are going to have to work on some of these problems
if they want to increase their share of the market. Delivery seems to be the Achilles Heel
of online shopping. You used to have to go out to buy things; now you have to stay home
to get them! Another thing that bothers me about online shopping is that it is obviously
putting a lot of small merchants out of business, thereby changing the face of America.
Bookstores have been the hardest hit of all retailers. It almost seems as if the stores will
eventually be offering nothing but tattoos, pedicures, haircuts, and hamburgers. The
small towns of Middle America have been particularly hard hit by the double-whammy of
Walmart and online shopping.
If you get a chance to change your past, what one thing would you
change and why?
I lacked all confidence and had low self-esteem in elementary school. I would change
this if I could but since the parents create the child’s world, the only way I could change it
would be to go back and relive my life from fourth grade on, knowing what I know now. I
would do this if I could. I would run, exercise, join sports, and take martial arts and
change my destiny from introvert to extrovert.
Possibly it would be a mistake, but having already lived my life into my 50′s on the
current path, I would be delighted to risk an alternate path that would have the potential
to give me a lifetime of new experiences. That, or I’d go back to birth and give myself a
really large penis. Oh dear! There I go thinking out loud again.
Wish you a very happy Diwali Mistral and the passionate community of travellers here :).
I believe most of us were busy cleaning and decorating our houses till a few days back
and now busy admiring how beautiful the house looks with those dazzling lights and with
that fresh coat of paint.
I plan to spend my time with family and will control my intense urge to eat sweets . I
am not a fire cracker person that shake buildings and scare little kids but I love
watching that show of lights that dazzle the sky and last time, there were quite a few of
us in my society, who said no to noisy crackers and lit the sky up with dazzling lights.
Corruption
In its simplest sense, corruption may be defined as an act of bribery or misuse of public
position or power for the fulfillment of selfish motives or to gain personal gratifications. It
has also been defined as "Misuse of authority as a result of consideration of personal
gain which need not be monetary".
In recent Centuries India has earned a place among the THREE most corrupt countries
in the world. Corruption in India is a consequence of the nexus between Bureaucracy,
politics and criminals. India is now no longer considered a soft state. It has now become
a consideration state where everything can be had for a consideration. Today, the
number of ministers with an honest image can be counted on fingers. At one time, bribe
was paid for getting wrong things done but now bribe is paid for getting right things done
at right time.
It is well established that politicians are extremely corrupt the world over. In fact, people
are surprised to find an honest politician
Is it possible to contain corruption in our society? Corruption is a cancer, which every
Indian must strive to cure. Many new leaders when come into power declare their
determination to eradicate corruption but soon they themselves become corrupt and start
amassing huge wealth
Change is an inevitable part of college life, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Here,
we’ll take a look at a few of the ways college will impact the way you live.
You’ll meet many more new people. Whether you’re from a small town or big city, going
to college means that you’ll be introduced to many more people than ever before. Your
high school probably only exposed you to several hundred to a few thousand different
people, but college is full of thousands of students, many at different ages, different
walks of life, and with viewpoints different than your own. Believe it or not, you will be
influenced by knowing and being around these new people in college life.
You will become more responsible and independent. When most people think college
student, responsible isn’t always the first thing that pops into their mind, but it’s true.
College students tend to become much more responsible when they step on campus.
You’ll be exposed to a higher level of thinking. College doesn’t just teach you facts and
theories. It teaches you how to think, how to research, and how to create independent
thoughts. You may find that college changes the whole way you think, and for most,
that’s a good thing.
Metro
Delhi has been experiencing phenomenal growth in population in the last few decades.
So, the number of vehicles has been increased to 40 lakhs, these are more than that of
Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai put together. Today traffic on the roads of Delhi is a
mix-up of cycles, scooters, buses, cars and rickshaws, resulting fuel wastage,
environmental pollution and increasing number of rod accidents.
To rectify the situation the government of India and the Government of National Capital
Territory of Delhi, in equal partnership have set up a company on 03.05.1995 named
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC).
This necessitates a policy shift to discourage private modes. So, introduction of a rail
based (MRTS) Mass Rapid Transport System is called for. MRTS will result in time
saving for commuters, reliable and safer journey, reduction in atmospheric pollution,
reduction in accident rates, reduced fuel consumption, reduced vehicle operating costs
and increase in the average speed of road vehicles.
The proposed Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) is going to be one of the most
eco-friendly projects in Delhi. With international consultants Ms PCI (Japan) is
associated with DMRC which is, building MRTS aims at using the latest technical
knowhow available in Metro systems worldwide. The general consultants consisting of
(PCI-PBI-TON1 CHI-JARTS-RITES) is overseeing the construction management. The
total .and requirement of the land for the construction is about 458,256 hectares.
Preservation of water
No water! No life! …..In reality, we can live without food for three to five days a week, but
we cannot stand for living without water for a day. Water is the basis of lives living on
earth. But without a proper condition of water, there must be a bad effect on all types of
lives as well. As it becoming worse because of the pollution and the climate change,
water conservation is the perfect way to improve the quality of water as well as to
balance the current and future water needs. To get through the water conservation, we
should know the important, the goal and how we can conserve the water.
To human, water provides us a huge need for the basic needs as we need fresh water
for drinking, to cook thing and to use in things we cook; for example, in the soup, cake,
dessert, porridge and so on and we also need freshwater to wash ourselves for being
clean and hygiene, to wash clothes for being fresh, to wash dishes for getting away from
any kinds of gems, and even to wash our vehicles as needed. Freshwater is used in
many ways. We can also use freshwater to improve the sanitation, irrigation, industry
and so on. To animal, freshwater plays a very important role as their fundamental needs
including the home for species and for drinking. Not different from the human kind,
animal need water to support their buddies to survive. For water species, water is not
only a basic home but also a place for them to get food. To the environment, freshwater
can create the green which can also help both human and animal living in a good
condition, for they will live in a kind of environment without pollution. Also, by growing
greenery everywhere, it is a great function to cause the rainfall from the forest. And that
really benefit to the living situation. That’s all I have time for the important for water
conservation.
Trees
Trees are beautiful and useful gifts of nature. Trees are great friends of men. Trees give
us flowers, fruits, timber, bamboo, fuels, etc. We can rest under the cool shade of a tree.
We get wood from the trees to make furniture, doors, windows, etc.
Trees are also a great source of materials for paper, rubber, gums, herbs and medicine
plants. Forest brings clouds and cause rainfall. Trees prevent soil erosion. They protect
us from severe weather.
Trees release oxygen which we need for our life. They also absorb the carbon-dioxide
Dress code is dress pattern which one need to follow according to the rules. From the
childhood we have learnt that one can wear only certain kind of clothes at certain place
that depends on occasion. While going to school one can’t wear colorful funky clothes so
there is a ritual to follow the uniform rules.
I think it is very important to wear proper clothes at certain places. Like in office it is very
important to wear formal clothes as informal clothes will not make you presentable. Many
times, the kind of clothes you wear says something about oneself and kind of person he
or she is. If one always dress up in decent formal dress people will take that person
seriously. Sometimes when person does not wear a decent clothes it conveys the wrong
message to other people. This things happens in the corporate world. I think instead of
dress code, dressing up appropriately at offices, schools and other work organization is
very important.
There should not be a compulsion of wearing particular color of clothes all days, but at
the same time, there should be some rules which needs to be follow like not wearing
t-shirts with dirty print and message or wearing shorts at institutes either study institute
or work institute should be prohibited.
In my opinion everyone has liberty to wear what they want to but at the same time that
person should have sense to wear clothes according to the occasion and at the same
time should be suitable to the place, where he/she is wearing it. For instance, if one
doesn’t know when and where to wear a party clothes, he/she will give chance to other
to comment about his/her dressing. People will make fun of such people.
There are various rules on if education should be free and/or compulsory in India. As a
general rule, it is the fundamental right of people aged between 6 and 14 to have
compulsory education.
India has now got more people in primary education than it used to have. The rate of
literacy in the country is roughly at 75%, which is not bad for one of the most populated
countries in the world.
The Indian education system is cited as one of the reasons why India has seen such
economic development over the last few years. Things such as learning English have
really helped to put a lot of people into work. There are many public institutions that are
churning out thousands of qualified students that are ready to work right away. There is a
lot credit that should go to India institutes that study science, as that has helped improve
the economy in India over the last few years.
There are a lot of private schools in India, and they complement the public school
system. Of the people in secondary education, there are 29% of students that receive
private education. These are students between the ages of 6 and 14. There are many
post-secondary technical schools that are private too.
The quantity of India education is okay at the moment, but there are many schools that
are simply not good. At any one time there is 25% of the staff missing either through
illness or general absence. The Indian government has started testing to see which
schools are doing well and which are failing. There is a hope that the state of schools will
improve so that students may get a good education no matter which schools they go to.
More regulation is needed if all Indian students are going to get a fair chance at a good
education.
It’s not just the food and climate though that makes South India like a different country to
me, it is the people and the environment. I appreciate I have only seen a small part of
the South as yet, but for me it is light years away from where I have come from.
There are some things about the environment here that are also taking some adjustment
after being used to the North. There are no cows on the street here, I have so far seen
only one, but goats are everywhere. Like the cows they are harmless and certainly leave
a lot less of a mess. I am also still yet to see a monkey, something I am very grateful for
(they scare the living daylights out of me)!
The south also appears to be more affluent than the north. People look much better fed,
the housing looks better and there are less beggars on the street. Poverty is still
definitely here, but it is far less in your face than I found in north India. This may be
because the population is more sparse here creating an illusion of affluence.
From what I have been told and based on what I have read on the internet, there is more
educational infrastructure per capita in the south, which is likely to be a major
contributing factor to the improved environment. I have to say, it has certainly made a
huge difference, enough for me to contemplate whether perhaps it is somewhere I could
call home in the future.
I think that the students should be allowed to bring cell phones as long as they don't
disrupt class or distract themselves and not pay attention due to the phone, if that
happens the teachers can just confiscate it and tell that particular student that he/she
may not be able to bring a cellphone to school. I think students should have the right of
bringing a cellphone to school because its theirs. They have responsibility. if they dont
cause trouble with it i think they should be allowed because also it is really convenient for
emergencies and also the school phones might be out or they might not have access to
one so it think bringing a cell phone is handy also you could use it to help for your
classes like a calculator or as a flashlight. Therefore cellphones should be allowed.
I like shopping very much. It is one of the most relaxing thing for women. I don't know
any friends, who doesn't like this away of spending free times. Every week I go to
shopping Centre with my friends. It takes about four hours. During this time we are
picking the best clothes and after that we are trying on in fitting rooms. I usually chose
colorful clothes, but I like also buying jewelry or shoes. I always have to try on every
shop. My favoriteshops are these with shoes. While I am doing the shopping I must
come in every shop. When I come into a shoe shop I feel much better. I don't prefer
high-heels shoes. I usually choose comfortable shoes, especially trainers. At the second
thing, after shoes I like the most are big bags.
In shopping centres there are also cosmetician shops, where I can spend about half an
hour. Sometimes I am able to spend there a half of my money. I like testing perfume and
different colours of lipsticks. After long and exhausted shopping, I and my friends always
go to eat something. There are many restaurants and snack bars, where we can have
delicious pizza, burgers or home dish. During eating we also order something to drink,
like coke or fruit juice.
I like weekends because then I have a lot of free time, which I spend in shopping
centres. I think that doing the shopping is very nice manner to spend our free time.

Water
In spite of having 70% of water on earth but only 1% of water is fresh &
useable and other 97% of water is salty, 2% of water is in form of ice in
the glaciers & icebergs.
What difficult situation you faced in your life, how you overcome that
situation
Think about a time you have come up against a challenge that you successfully
resolved. Don't dredge up a catastrophe that resulted in personal or professional failure –
stick to a story with a happy ending. And don't make it about a personal clash with a
co-worker, but rather a professional challenge that places you in a positive light.
The interviewer is also trying to determine what you define as 'difficult' so try to choose
an example that was challenging but not impossible to resolve.
Keep in mind they are interested in determining how your actions and decisions will
affect the business so always describe a conclusion that shows you acting in a positive
way for the company.
Introduction
Family is considered to be the most essential part of a person's life. Every individual is
taught about the importance of a family since their childhood days.
There are two types of family systems – joint family and nuclear family systems. Joint family
is a type of extended family, which consists of parents, their children, spouses of the
children and their offspring in one household. A nuclear family is composed of parents and
their children.
2. Unity – Joint family creates an emotional bond between two generations and it helps to
keep the family united in all the situations. The tradition and culture is passed on to the
coming generations so that they can take it forward. The proverb “United we stand, Divided
we fall”, goes true in the joint family system.
3. Preference of the youngsters – There are youngsters out there in the society, who prefer
a social life with a better support system. These people believe in the system of joint family.
4. Provides an opportunity for leisure time – The joint family system provides an opportunity
for leisure time as the female members divide the household work and finish it off very
soon.
5. Social insurance – Joint family acts as a social insurance and a support for the widows
and the old aged people. They are assured of a proper living.
Nuclear family
1. More freedom – Nuclear families have more freedom as compared to a joint family
system. They do not have to worry about what the other members of the household may
think. They can roam around freely and come back at any time without being answerable to
anyone. Democracy exists in a nuclear family.
2. Bonding – Nuclear family is based upon the parental love and sibling connection. The
mechanism of relationships in a nuclear family is very straight forward. It is based on the
foundation of mutual respect and love for each other.
3. Kid's preference – Youngsters of a nuclear family prefer more freedom and less
restrictions. As both the parents go to work, kids may feel bored at home. They may prefer
to go out and play with their friends or to go out for an outing. To carry out such activities,
less restriction is essential.
4. Quarrels – Nuclear families face fewer quarrels when compared to a joint family. Usually,
they are the small quarrels between a husband and wife or a child and the parents.
Conclusion
Both the joint and nuclear families have their own pros and cons. India is a country which is
known for its cultural diversity and thus, joint family system is still prevalent in many parts of
the country.
But with the increase in urbanization, nuclear families are taking over the joint family
systems. When compared to joint family, nuclear families many a times feel better. They
provide a peace and calm environment at home as there are very few quarrels. Every
individual after coming from work requires a peaceful atmosphere at home. As they say -
“small family, happy family.”
friends. It was last Sunday lunchtime, and I didn’t expect there to be much traffic; people don’t work
Everything was going well until suddenly I saw a queue of cars on the road in front of me. I had no
choice but to join the queue and wait to get past whatever was causing the delay. It turned out that it
was caused by some roadworks, and it took me an extra 30 minutes to get past them.
Getting stuck in traffic congestion doesn’t usually make me angry, but this time it did, mainly because
I wasn’t expecting it and I knew that my friends were waiting to meet me for lunch. I felt frustrated and
powerless because there was nothing I could do to change the situation, and I had no idea how long I
would be sitting there waiting. When I finally saw the reason for the congestion, I was relieved that I
was close to getting past the roadworks, but I still felt a bit stressed knowing that I was half an hour
late.
Constructive criticism is an important part of professional growth, and this is a good chance to
show your employer you are striving to be the best and are open to improvement. Even though
receiving criticism is going to feel lousy, show the interviewer that you are happy to put your ego
to one side, and that you listen to and act upon feedback and advice.
If you don't use criticism as an agent for change when it happens, then those vicious teeth of
criticism will just keep biting and biting into perfection.
I am an optimistic person. There was situations where in the earlier stages of my career I was
criticized for the mistakes I made. But I took it as a constructive feedback, learnt to do the job
better the next time. When I joined as a customer service executive in Cochin International Airport
fresh from college, I found my job a bit confusing.
Because there was different system for different airline. So while checking the documents of the
passengers I sometimes failed to check the documents properly before the went it the immigration
I was criticized for the mistake. But I quickly learnt and perfected the job. Later I became the team
leader and gave training to the new comers.
Write a letter to your friend telling him How did you spend your holidays
Hello Friends,
I am Chans, Very recently i went to a place called Ooty. My office mates planned the trip to Ooty,
which is in Tamilnadu, India. I really enjoyed the moments in Ooty. Traveled to different places
water fall, boating club. Its one of best place for honeymoon couples, Its cold and rain through
the year. Second day went botanical garden which has lots of trees/plants good to see such kind
of place and its 100 years of history.
I would not choose anything. Let me give my justifications for the same:
⦁ If I go back to the past and change one thing, then I will not be where I am today.
There are regrets, there are mistakes in the past, but I have learnt something from
them. It made me stronger, though the lessons were harsh. But that’s okay. Everything
happens for a reason. So the option of changing past is ruled out for me. Just learn,
Accept and Move on!
⦁ Seeing my entire future beforehand? That will make my life boring and scary too,
because I will be knowing what is going to happen next. And if I come to know the
problems I am gonna face in future, before hand, I will stop living this minute and my
focus will be shifted on avoiding those problems. My current life might be filled with
fear of future. And no, I don’t want that.
Life is not about changing past or fearing about future. It is about living this moment to the
fullest, accepting the past and letting go of the worries of future.
Women empowerment
Hello everyone,
Women empowerment is something which makes our society realize that women are also an
integral part of a society and they should be treated in the same way as men. Weather it is home
or work field. Weather it is about rights or opportunities. This can only be done by proper
education and awareness in our society.
In earlier days women were not treated in the same way as they should be as per women
empowerment. Men should not only say but they must understand and accept that women are not
meant to be suppressed. They should be treated equally as men. And women must also
understand that changes and understanding comes with time and mentality can not be changed in
an hour.
Women should also understand that empowerment is not meant to overtake men instead it is to
bring women as equivalent as men. Relation is something which needs understanding, patience
and compromises but equally from both sides. Empowerment is nowhere responsible for divorces
in India instead our non readiness for the changes are.
For
⚪ There is no valid point till date which makes any women unequal in comparison to a man.
⚪ Giving reservation to women would give them encouragement. They would not be
recognized in society as mere “domestic” workers.
⚪ Reservation should not be given to treat them superior; it should be given to help people
understand that they are equal. This is because, few communities in India still believe in
“female foeticide”. Little do they know that it’s a woman that delivers a man!
Against
⚪ If women need to do something for the society and country, there is no need for
reservation.
⚪ Instead of concentrating on reservation, the society can be improved by concentrating on
other ethical issues.
⚪ There have been many great and famous women in politics that did what they could for
society. They didn’t any special reservation!
⚪ Women may undoubtedly take advantage of reservation to defend themselves.
⚪ Although reservations should be encouraged and Like they say “Great powers come with
great responsibility”, it should become a moral responsibility of women to not misuse the
same.
Happiest moment in your life
• Describe it?
• Why do you regard it as the happiest moment?
• How did it affect your life?
The happiest moment in my life was when I passed my Grade 12. It was a crazy day. I was
behaving like a maniac as I was so stressed out. I had to go to my school to get my result
and I was panicking. My admission in the college was solely dependent on whether I pass
or fail the exam, so it was very important for me to pass the exam.
I reached my school and I was trembling with fear because I thought that I would fail in one
of the subjects. After a long wait I was asked to pick my result and with trembling hands I
opened the envelope.
I had passed the exam. It was the happiest moment in my life. The main reason it was the
happiest moment in my life was that I had not worked for the exam, but still I passed the
exam. Somewhere in my heart I thought that I did not deserve the passing mark, so the
passing mark made me ebullient.
If I compare this situation to other events in my life I can say that I have had better marks in
other exams, but this was the most important one. After getting the HSD I got admission in
the college and I started my higher studies. I remember that most of the students in my
class had not gotten it and they had to sit for the make-up exam; however I was damn lucky
and it also helped me realized that luck was not always going to work and in the future I will
have to put up some real effort to get success in life.
We all are talking about the women reservation bill which is likely to give 33% reservation to
women in Lok sabha. In my opinion, there should be reservation for women but first at the
education level. No doubt in recent years, we have seen much betterment in women's condition
but still we cannot say that we have reached the equality level and whosoever is saying this
should go to villages and backward areas and see the condition of women.
And we should remember that originally in the constitution the reservation was mentioned for
women. But the various amendments in constitution changed its face.
But I am against at giving reservation in politics. Even if women get the reservation at that level, it
would be difficult for an ordinary woman with no political background to reach there. There would
be a situation that instead of existing male politicians their wife and daughters will be holding the
position.
There will be no change for ordinary women who are really suffering.
I think white is the best colour in the world amid thousand of colours. There are
several reasons to prefer the colour. The first and most important reason is that
white colour makes my mind fresh. Whenever I see white colour around me, I feel a
positive vibe. Besides, I try to use the colour in my everyday life. Most of my dresses
are made with white colour. The room I live in is white. My office walls are coloured
in white. There are white everywhere where I belong. But there are some special
cases where I cannot apply my own idea of making white.
To me, white appears solely different from the other colours. The other colours have
several shades but white has no such shades. White refers to white. There is no dark
shade in this light colour. Sometimes it appears that white has no hue at all for its
lightness. This is different from the other colours in this sense that it can contain any
other colour on it and could change the entire tone. As a result, the combination gets
a different look. Moreover, white is dominating over any other colour and could be
easily noticed. White is used in almost all the combination for its lightness and
attractive features.
I have a strange fascination for white colour since my early childhood. When I am in
touch with the colour, I feel a sense of deep calmness inside my mind. White looks
gorgeous and I try to make everything whiter as much possible for me. When I pick
my dresses, I try to have whiter portion more than the other colours. Sometimes, I try
to pick the entire white clothes. White brings a sense of satisfaction to me and helps
to concentrate on my activities. But sometimes I try to adjust white colour with some
other hues so that it does not look irritating. The feelings are inexpressible in a word.
For some specific reasons, I have picked white as my favourite colour. Firstly, it is
white which is light and eye soothing than any other colour. A moderate white shade
never irritates the eye and one can look at for hours whereas it is impossible for the
other colours. This is a light colour and suits every occasion. Moreover, I am in love
with white as it goes with me perfectly. When I put on white-coloured dresses, I look
stunning. Some may opine that white is colourless or no colour at all, but I am on the
opposite view. I believe that white is the key of all colours. You can make different
other colours using white. Attractive shades could be made with this colour. If we
consider white in our daily life, there are several other reasons to prefer it. When
white is applied to home, the space looks larger. Painting in white background is
easier and helps making a better painting. The most important thing is that white
goes with all the colours and thus I love it very much.
Actually, the most favorable color for me is blue. I love blue color, and I enjoy wearing blue clothes, or drive
blue car. One important reason why I like this color is that it helps me to feel less stressed. It is the color of sky
and ocean and by looking at it I remember the beauty of the nature.
I think color is a part of cultures, and people can show their common habits by wearing their popular clothes
which have different colors. For example, In Canada, Canadians are used to wearing red clothes in festivals,
or Brazilians wear yellow color in their national days. Moreover, color can help us to distinct different careers.
Doctors put on white coat, militants wear grey or nurses the blue one.
From my perspective, I love this color because firstly it helps me to have better feeling about everything. For
instance, when it comes to taking exam as I wear a blue colored shirt, I can better overcome my anxiety and I
have more confidence. Another reason is that I think it is the only color that helps to become more patient.
Personally, as I use see blue color I can tolerate difficult situations in my life. So, this color is the best choice
for me due to its quality of increasing my self-confidence and patience to take burden to difficult conditions.
Favouraite tv channel
I do not watch TV that much but it is a great electronic media for education and entertainment. Sometimes I
watch TV, mostly in my free time and among the channels I watch, 'Discovery Channel' is my most favorite.
Whenever I held the TV remote control in my hand, I look for either a news channel or Discovery channel.
This is the channel I watch more often than any other channels. I watch it for 4-8 hours per week. On my day
off, if I am in front of TV, I watch the great educational and recreational programs that this channel
broadcasts.
It broadcasts mainly documentary programs focusing on popular science, technology and history. But
recently they have started showing some other types of programs like reality show and pseudo technology
and entertainment. There are some unique programs that they present to their audiences like Myth Busters,
Unsolved History, automobiles, and occupations etc. This channel started broadcasting from 1985 and has
become one the most popular TV channels in the world because of their emphasizes on high quality
programs.
I like this TV channel because of the programs and documentaries they present. Most of the programs are
thoroughly enjoyable and offers lots of information to the audiences. This is one of the great sources for me to
learn history, technology and other educational knowledge. The picture quality is really nice and this channel
is easily available via the cable service providers. I found this channel really interesting and I can learn many
new things watching it.
Culture differences
n today’s era, we see different types of cultures. Every country knows by their own
cultures. Nowadays every countries culture ge ng a more parallel than past. There are
many reason as well as many advantages or a disadvantages.
Firstly, more and more technology available in today’s era like television, mobile
phones, computers, internet etc. We can easily see every countries culture through this
technology. Many people going to abroad for study as well as to do work and try to mix
with this cultures. For instance, on the television many shows broadcast from different
country which we and new genera on see and try to get this cultures. Someone coming
home country a er comple on study or work at that me his/her a tude has changed.
So that’s all are a main reason for the cultures similarity in every countries.
On the other hand, if we can survey around us then there are many posi ve or a
nega ve impression on the people. There are many advantages like we can easily share
our ideas and bound strong rela onship and we are very well know that rela on very
helpful in future. By this rela on government plan to develop their country by using
latest technology hence country’s GDP ra o increase. For instance, the good
rela onship between America and India. Therefore India has been adop ng more
technology from America for developing country’s infrastructure, defence power etc.
But, there are many disadvantages like our new genera on see different types of
cultures on television and internet and they mix them in this culture which very bad for
our society. For example, in India more and more people ge ng western culture
especially in living style. And they wear western type cloths which very dangerous for
our society.
In conclusion, I think cultures similarity are good but we never forgive our culture.
Especially parents should teach their child what is the right or wrong?
India is the one of the country in the world with more population and lot of cultures.
We have so many good cultural values but to day in this essay i will examine about
india's family strucutre.
In india we have combined family. Like parents, grand parents , auncles, aunts and
cousins. We have big families. And marraige culture. I believe that whoever loves their
family members they only can love their country. We will give love to all family
members and give repsect to elder people. In india we don't have any other sexual
relationships other than wife or husband. We have good family structure like both
mother and father. Mother and father and father parents and brothers.
In big families you can learn how to adjust with so many family members and give
resepect to elder peeple. If we live with only our parents we don't know how to adjust
with people and respect other people except parents. We can learn how to love
evrybody. This can makes the people how to love other people and respect people. That
is the reason in india people give improtance to other people too. And people always
like to understand other feelings and give respect to their opinions.
To conclude, Whoever love much their family members they only can love and respect
other people and love to other country people too.
I’ve made my fair share of mistakes in my past, it all started in sixth grade just by hanging out with the
wrong crowd. These few people changed the rest of my life. This choice later lead to getting in trouble at
school, bad grades and more mistakes. The worst choice I have ever made was bringing marijuana to
school. I didn’t think anything of it until I realized Mr. H had caught me. His eyes scanning the school,
looking for a hellion like me. I still remember the shock of remorse, and fear that pulsed through my body
the second I got caught. I remember trying to think of a story to tell to Mr. H but fear had twisted up my
brain so much I couldn’t think straight.
I also remember waiting in the office after a dreadful interrogation. An air conditioner is almost your only
source of sound besides for the chuckle and whispering of the office ladies occasionally interrupting the
hum of the air conditioner. What usually is the most boring room you could ever be in, isn’t so boring
anymore. I had so many different thoughts wrapped up in my head it was nearly impossible to be bored.
After this incident, I took my punishment, both from the school and my parents. But I realized, I screwed
up and this wasn’t the path I want to take. This mistake changed my life, not just in a negative way, but a
positive way as well. I realized I needed to straighten out and never make this mistake ever again.
Although it has left a mark in my record, I think it has changed me for the better. I believe you learn from
my mistakes.
For me, a pen is like the beginning of something amazing. Every day, I write a new page with my pen, and I am slowly
paving a path for my future. I could get into Stanford for Biology, or Julliard for Music. Maybe I will be a scientist and
change the world with my discoveries. Maybe I’ll become a musician and touch people’s hearts with my music. Or
perhaps I will be an author and move people through words. . . . or a teacher and help children grow into the people
they will become.
There are so many endless possibilities as to what I will do with my life, but I know that with my pen in my hand, I will
write a good future for myself. Tell me in the Comments what future YOU will write for yourself
BLACK COLOUR
About Black Color:
Black is the most misunderstood color. A black tie dinner
is very formal and elegant. Women can wear that "must have
little black dress" to the black tie dinner. Yet the bad
guys wear black hats. Black symbolizes death in some
cultures. Native Americans thought black was good because
it was the color of soil, which gives life. Saturday's
color is black.
Black is not a color, strictly speaking. It is the absence
of all color. When people speak of opposites, it is usually
in terms of black and white. Black, and its opposite white,
represent polarities. Black absorbs all aspects of light.
While white reveals, black conceals. It has come to mean
hidden, fearful or bad experience. It is linked to the
unknown or the unseen.
In times of fear and uncertainty black contains the energy
of the threatening unknown. In a positive state, black is
seen as a restful emptiness into which anything may emerge
and disappear once again. It is also mysterious, providing
a sense of potential and possibility.
Put some black in your life when you want:
to become inconspicuous
to open the door to mystery
to prepare for the unknown
a restful emptiness
Black gem stone properties
Black gemstones symbolize self control and resilience.
Black stones have protective energies in the sense that
black is the absence of light, and therefore, can be used
to create invisibility.
Wearing Black
Dress in black if you want to become inconspicuous. Black
is also used in clothing to make a bold statement of
mystery and self control. Black clothing can say "Notice me
but do not intrude."
Differences between delhi and home town pune.
I have been to Delhi for some time and am a localite from Pune so very happy to answer this
Q. There are many small/ major differences but will point out few important aspects which
I thought can be useful:
1. Pune is safer for girls and anyone in general; not only in comparison with Delhi but many
other cities in India
2. Delhi beats Pune in terms of Metro or in general Public transport. Pune's public
transport is bad beyond imagination
3. Pune has balanced weather, the summers are not above 45 degreees and winters
generally don't fall below 4-5 degrees. Rains are also medium and it is very rare in Pune
that visibility/ transport is blocked fully due to rain/ fog
4. Delhi again beats Pune in terms of Road infrastructure (not that entire Delhi has
impeccable roads but main roads are not as narrow as Pune city roads)
5. Pune has many dams/ hills/ forts/ hill stations to trek and travel which is lagging around
many other tier 1 and metro cities
6. A north Indian person has to adjust little and a south Indian person also has to adjust
little, to live in Pune. While Delhi is good for all north Indians and even marathi/ Gujaratis
to some extent, I have some south Indian friends who find it difficult to adjust with Delhi
culture/ style
7. Air connectivity to ROI and outside is of course better for Delhi, while Pune has limited
connectivity and relies more on vicinity to Mumbai for international flights
8. The style of preparing Pani Puri and chaat items is different in Pune and Delhi :-)
Funniest incident in your life
The funny incident that I remember happened was almost 2-3 years ago that I would like to describe.
That time I was a student in a university and I was in my 7th semester. We had a group assignment and to
collect data we went to some libraries after our class. In the evening, I found that my group members are
complaining that they are hungry and they need to have some foods.
I found them entering in a restaurant and I went with them. One of my classmates ordered some foods
directly to the waiter without looking at the menu and after we are done with our foods, I noticed that one of
the group mates is asking the group leader to pay the bill. The group leader was astonished as he had not
offered the meal and said that he did not have the money to pay the bill. I asked the waiter to bring the bill and
we were thundered to look at the amount. It was much higher than the usual price. Though we were bit
worried, but we started laughing and enjoying the whole thing. One of the classmates offered to collect all of
our money and then pay the bill. We looked at our wallets, pockets & bags and collected the whole amount.
There were so many changes and coins there that we had to calculate 2-3 times. But to our surprise, the total
amount is still not sufficient to pay the bill.
We started laughing and I proposed to two of the groupmates to give their cell phones and wrist watched as
the alternatives of the bill. These two group mates got serious and were protesting that these would be an
insane idea. Rest of us started enjoying their reaction as we found that they have actually taken this
seriously. One of your group mates proposed that we should pay the amount we have with us and ask the
manager of the hotel to allow us time to pay the rest of the amount. I told them that manager would not allow
that and would call the police! We enjoyed the event, the dubious looks on some of your classmates and the
fact that 2-3 of them have taken the whole thing very seriously and are actually got anxious.
We stayed there for about 1 hours and notices that people around us were giving surprising looks as we
something very funny and interesting is going on among us. One of my group mates' house was nearby and
he proposed that he would go home and bring the money and in the meantime, we would stay there until he
arrives. We agreed and waited for him another20 minutes or so. In the meantime, one of the boys told that the
classmates who left won’t come back! We laughed at the idea and acted as if it's going to happen for real.
After our classmates returned from home, he paid the bill (with some tips as well!) and then we left the
restaurant.
We then left for our home and I took a taxi and paid the taxi fare from my home. I told the story to other
classmates next day and they found it very funny and interesting as well. This event became famous in our
class and we often mentioned the funny things happened that day among us.
The sheer beauty of the Taj is unparalled. People often talk about how their first glimpse is so
breath-taking. I must say i felt the same. It looks Majestic. A lot has been said about Taj, i would
like to talk about what Tourists must take care of!
We ended up at the Taj on a Sunday and in the peak tourist season. That day saw an
approximation of a Hundred Thousand visitors! One can imagine how long the queues must have
been.
Some pointers for first timers :
1) From about 500 meters before Taj, the roads are sealed and after collecting your passes you
need to either take the free bus rides provided or the other options of Auto-Rickshaw or Horse
Carts(100 Rupees). We took the bus and walked while returning since the distance was paltry.
2) Indians generally buy the Rs.20 passes since paying 750 bucks for a VIP pass doesnt make
sense. One must not forget to buy shoe covers along with these since otherwise you need to
remove your shoes before entering the Taj Mahal.
3) Going for a guide is optional ofcourse, we hired one for 400 bucks and he pretty much took
care of everything for us include some very nice pictures. Anyone who needs his name and
contact details can email me.
4) The best time to visit the Taj is at 6 in the Morning. You do not compete with people for a better
view and pictures and the sun rise is worth the effort.
5) The Taj is closed on Fridays so dont plan your trip then !
6) I found a bit of litter inside and it saddened me a lot. It is cleaned regualrly but i wish people
would behave more responsibly to protect our National Heritage.
OPINION ON SOCIAL NETWORKING:
Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, and Formspring all come to my mind when someone says “social
networking.” For many teens of this day and age, visiting these sites are a part of their daily
routine. Sure, it’s a good way to keep in contact with your friends and peers, but can it be
too much of a good thing? In my opinion, social networking sites are beneficial if used in
certain ways, but can also be detrimental if used in the wrong way.
First of all, these sites make it possible to interact with the people next door, or across the
world, with one click. This allows you to keep in touch with your friends and family that may
live far away. Whoever you may need, whenever you may need them, you are able to reach
them via social networking. These sites are very beneficial in keeping the user in touch with
virtually the entire world.
Second of all, a feature on many of these sites allows you to upload pictures to your page.
This is a very helpful feature in sharing pictures with your friends and family. The ability of
people to comment on your pictures is both a good and bad thing. It’s nice to see what
people have to say about your pictures, but often times, some people don’t have the most
positive things to say. Others may take advantage of this feature and upload pictures that
have the potential of getting themselves in trouble.
First of all, I will confine myself to the prime duty of executing the sustainable goals as a part of
my five-year plan schedule, remembering that I was a real executive and the head of the
government.
In order get an overall development of the country, I need to concentrate on all the sectors.
Instead of confining to the development of the individual sector. Effective and the efficient policies
on industries, agricultural, and the other small and territory should come to the reality from their
gross roots.
I need to make everyone be aware of what government is doing. , also about its strategy, plans,
and the other policies.
As India is a country which lies in its villages, so, the development what we are talking about is
from its grass roots (villages) by making them self-sufficient and self-reliance.
And also providing villages with the basic amenities like schools, public health centers, transport
facilities. , and also making everyone accessible to the banks by ensuring banking processes
easier for the illiterates too.
Effective governance can be possible only by the group. Cooperation and coordination, so I need
to ensure selection of council of members should be fair and also it should be from all fields and
communities. , moving towards equal representation.
Equally, there is a need to make constant vigilance over governing bodies at every level (central,
state and districts) and also to put checks one over the other to terminate corruption and efficient
use of funds.
I will make sure myself about guarding human resources through effective policies, instead of
concentrating only on subsidies and free distributions. , propagating that humans are no way
inferior, but they are entrepreneurs.
I'll concentrate mainly on indigenous resources and industries, to promote the welfare of the
skilled locals, to reduce the importing levels of the country.
And also it is subsequently important to recognize and support the talents from every field (from
science and tec, education, civil societies, agricultural, defense, and sports).
I'll make govt, easily approachable to the people through mass media. And by establishing
monitoring institutions at every level starting from the minor and remote areas, and also by the
overviewing prosperity of the deprived areas like Northwest, and the states affecting by the
insurgencies.
It is equally important to maintain peace internally among the states, by making peaceful accords
with the insurgent groups.
Concentrating on external security on par with internal security which is very essential for the
harmony of the country.
It is very necessary for a developing country like India to maintain international relations with
neighboring and other Westworld and east Asian countries for easy transit and for the
recognizable place at world market, but should not be at the cost of the sovereignty of the nation.
Finally, I will never regret at rendering my services anywhere, as I mean my vow of the oath of
office by placing my duty over my personal life.
I am pretty sure if I get a large amount of money right now, I will buy a nice car. The car would be Ford Fusion
series latest car with all the latest technology that a car can offer.
This would cost around 45 thousand USD and would require some additional cost to own and maintain it. I
would mostly use it to go to places I regularly go and the car would give me the freedom to choose my own
schedule and my dependency on the local buses.
We have a family car that 7-8 persons of our family share and I often have to take local bus to reach my
university/ work place. Since I don’t have a car, I often discard the idea of visiting a friend or relative who stays
a long away from our house. My own car would facilitates me to visit these places and travel to my workplace/
university easily and in less time.
I often dream of having a car and somehow I have a weakness of purchasing a car from Ford brand. The
fusion series cars are really good looking and come with latest technology a car can offer. So, I will buy this
car if I can manage the amount it would require or let’s say I get the amount all of a sudden.
Human beings are capable of love when they are willing. Unfortunately, we want to
export everything that is beautiful in our life to heaven and live wantonly on this
planet. Love, joy, blissfulness – these are human possibilities.
A simple process
Love is not something to do with someone else. Love is never between two people.
It is what happens within you, and what happens within you need not be enslaved
to someone else. For 15 to 20 minutes daily, go sit with something that means
nothing to you – maybe a tree, or a pebble, or a worm or an insect. After some time,
you will find you can look upon it with as much love as you do your wife or
husband or your mother or your child. Maybe the worm does not know this. That
doesn’t matter. If you can look at everything lovingly, the whole world becomes
beautiful in your experience. You realize love is not something that you do; love is
the way you are.
The differences are 1 biological and 2 mental. The first regards physical development in that
an adult denotes a person who is fully developed physically to produce children although
he/she may not be mature enough for the role.Even retarded individual can because a
parents
The second difference concerns the menta development. We e often hear remarks such as he
is still a child. The remark is on a person who is adult physically but she had not developed
enough mentally
/*******/
You are just on the brink of adulthood. It is normal, whether you think so or not to be a little aprehensive
about the changes you are facing. I personally think that the main differences between adulthood and
childhood is responsibility and priorities. Naturally as you get older you have more responsibility...for your
actions, to the community (bills, etc.) and your priorities change...what's important in jr. high and high
school doesn't have the same impact on you when you are older generally. You have to spend more time
on chores (jobs, housing, cleaning :(....when you are an adult but that doesn't mean you can't still have
fun. Attitude is everything. I have often told my children that you know you are grown up when you see
something that needs to be done and you just do it without being told...because you know it needs to be
done. This can mean working or anything. Life is more complex than this but that is basically it. You do
what you have to do when it has to be done. You can choose to enjoy what you are doing (picking up dog
poop out of the yard is still something I'm working on "enjoying"....but hey, at least I'm outside!) Anyway,
what I said about attitude applies. Not everything will be fun and games but enough of it will or you can
make it that way that you should have nothing to fear or be aprhensive about.
Have you thought about what you want to do when you get older? Where you would like to be or what
you would like to be doing in say 10 years from now? There is an old saying .."worrying is doing nothing
about something"...or something like that. Make a plan/goal and work towards it. Change is difficult...only
if you make it so...change is different for sure but it can be an adventure if you let it.
By the way, I don't want to depress you any more than you are but at 60 years old I can't run as fast as I
could when I was 14 (but I can drive!) and touching my toes and sitting cross-legged on the floor
sometimes requires a LOT of effort...but you have a LONG time before you have to worry about that!
Well games should be such that they give us some sort of entertainment and also physical
exercise.I prefer outdoor games to indoor games.I have the following reasons for my choice.
At first, outdoor games give me more physical exercise than indoor games.I can do a lot of body
work and movement in the outdooor games. They would help me keep my cholesterol level in
control and also keep me aloof from all kinds of cardiovascular problems.
Second, these would give me a more of exposure to the nature.I can enjoy the cool breeze and
sizzling rainfall only during the outdoor games though not all the time.It is not at all possible in
the indoor games like the computer games or the video games.
Third, these can be done at all places and whenever required.Because a simple walk or jogging or
playing badminton can be done at all places and some of them donot even require any devices.
And also these would help me develop my social circle as I can get into contact with several
people who have similar interests and from different walks of life.
So for the above reasons I prefer outdoor games and enjoy playing them.
FAVOURIATE SEASON
Choosing a favorite season would be difficult because they are all special to me.
They each have something to offer and are unique in every way.
Winter is one of my favorites because it is so beautiful to see everything
covered with a white sheet of snow. It also cools you down from all the heat left
from the summer and into the fall. You have fun with your family making snow
angels and have snowball fights.
Spring is a good season because it is between winter and summer,
temperatures are not too cold and not to hot. You are comfortable wearing a light
jacket outside instead of a heavy warm coat. You can walk and smell the flowers
beginning to flourish. The birds start chirping early in the morning. It lets you know
that summer is near and so is summer vacation.
Summer is great because it’s time to hang up your shoes and relax. There
is no more school and you can go to sleep late and wake up late. Relatives visit or
you can visit them. You can also do some traveling and explore new places.
Relaxing in the pool on a floating lounge chair enjoying cold lemonade is the
ultimate experience.
Autumn is also a great season because of all the colorful leaves falling
even though they are a hassle to pick up, especially in the pools. You can have fun
walking with friends and admiring the different shades of colors on the leaves. The
different colors warm your soul.
Autumn is such a calm season. The leaves turn beautiful tones of yellow,
orange, and red. Everyone is starting over with a new class, a new teacher, and
some new friends. When you drive by the neighborhoods you notice that families
are all gathered in some kind of celebration. You get such a warm feeling. It’s such
a peaceful time.
Now you know why I cannot choose one of the seasons. All of them are
special in every way. I love them all. I’m just glad I get to enjoy every single one.
Health is wealth. There is nothing in our life that is more valuable than good health. Without health
there is no happiness, no peace and no success. A person with bad health cannot enjoy the pleasure
of being wealthy.
Health is more valuable than money. Money cannot buy health and happiness. But a healthy person
remains in a state of bliss and happiness.
A healthy person is completely free from any illness or injury. A person with sound health enjoys a
stable health that also includes a healthy mental condition. Our health depends upon several factors,
such as food, pollution, sleeping habits, mental condition, air, water and sunlight. Morning
walks and Physical exercisesare very helpful for the fitness of our mind and body. We should take
proper care of our health so that we can enjoy our life completely.
When we are ill or we do not want to play or work, our bad health robs us of sound sleep and
appetite. Life becomes a burden for one, who is constantly ailing. Life has little charm for him. He
feels tired of life, always complaining about one thing or the other.
On the other hand, one with good health enjoys his life. When he works or plays he is never tired. A
healthy person enjoys good food and sound sleep. For him the world is beautiful and life is all joy.
Some other differences are, the selection procedure in both sectors. In government people at
higher position prefer to select their relatives or the person who offers them bribe. But in the
private sector, it is totally based upon your potential. And if we talk about the benefits of leaves
than it is true that the no of leaves are more in government than private. But in the private sector,
there is a well organized system of doing everything, so there is a work culture and if any
employee face the problem, then he/she can go to higher authorities. But in government there is
no system, not any culture and not any organized system. Also You get lot to explore in private
sector jobs, opportunities are vast there, and you work with different age group on same idea. In
private sector you get to work on cutting edge technology and thus you don’t lag behind. Than the
other difference is Pay commissions. Pay commissions are not applicable for Private jobs, you get
paid for what you do, and get appraisal and bonuses only if you perform well. But for govt.
employees there are Pay commissions which is applicable on specified periods and gets
increased with every next Pay commission's announcement, no matter that employee is working
enough to get those perks or not.
No doubt, there are a lots of differences in both sectors. But one should apply for the job, where
the people can justify their talent and hard work and most importantly where they feel satisfied.
In my life I have got numerous gifts and presents and among them most exciting and best gift was the Laptop
my father gave me when I was 14 years old. When I was 10 years old, I found that many of my friends had
their own laptops and desktop computers. I was heavily fascinated about this wonder machine and dreamed
about owning one someday. After getting admitted in grade 6, I got admitted in a computer training center and
learned the basic computing. Whenever I visited any my friends who had a computer, I felt overwhelmed
playing games, learning new software, trying to browse internet etc. over there. I sometimes visited some of
my friends’ houses more often than usual only because they had computers. Thus this machine became the
only dream of my life. As I knew that my father won’t be able to buy a computer for me, I did not ask for one. I
made a dummy computer using papers and boards and played with it. One day I bought a savings bank and
started saving coins and notes there. After one month I found that I have saved very few amount to purchase
a computer!
I got busy with other stuffs and could hardly find times to visit friends’ houses to use their computer but in a
corner of my heart I felt the same fascination for owning a computer. On my 14th birthday, my father told me
that he wants to take me to the computer shop and purchase one for me. I could not believe what I was
hearing. That night it was tough for me to sleep. In the morning I wake up earlier than usual and went to the
computer shop with my father. He bought a Dell Laptop that was Pentium 4 machine. While returning home, I
found myself flying in joy. I opened the box after returning home and showed it to my mother and other
relatives.
As a kid, that was a long expected gift that my father gave me and till now it’s the best gift/ present I have ever
received.
1) I hate that I'm a procratinator I put everything off until the very last minute I really hate
that
2. I'd stop worrying about stuff as much. I worry all the time about everything, even things that are
over and done with and out of my control. I'm trying to teach myself to have a "Oh well, life goes
on" attitude.
3) My laziness. I've been staying home a lot, not really making plans
⦁ I'll demonstrate all my power to the whole world and announce, "This your last chance
humans, be good, do good, stop fighting, stop all the crimes, stop all the fighting
amongst yourselves, drop all the hatred, help each other and other living things, live in
peace and stop polluting the Earth. If any one of you would like to oppose my
commands, may step forward!" *smiles*
⦁ Then I'll help to remove all the cold wars and tension going on between the nations by
accumulating all the big political leaders in one room and will ask them politely to
manage all the issues quickly, if any one of them opposes, then he won't be leaving the
room. *evil grin* (It's not what you think, I will just tell them to stay there and think
about what they've done. The classic technique.)
⦁ I'll ask all the scientists and researchers for all the ways in which I can help the
environment, like making ice on the poles or anything.
⦁ Then I'll come to my home in the evening and assuming that as no one recognizes that
Clark Kent is Superman, same will happen in my case, then I'll just switch on the T.V.
and see how it is going. In case, they still don't change (and I won't have these powers
next day!) then because humans didn't change even it was their last chance, so they
don't deserve to live. Consequently, I'll just burn the Earth, including myself and I
haven't given it much thought but I will do it in a spectacular way!
leadership skills that are most important for success. Here are the top
10.
1. Inspires and motivates others
Great leaders create a vision of the future that is vivid and compelling,
and that motivates employees to want to achieve it. Everyone wants to work
for a company that makes a difference in the world. As a leader, you are best
able to help the members of your team connect what they do to the impact it
has on customers and communities.
2. Displays high integrity and honesty
Great leaders are honest and transparent, and have high integrity--they do
what they say they are going to do, and they walk their talk. As Umpqua
Bank CEO Ray Davis said in his book Leading Through Uncertainty, "I
always tell our people that they're entitled to get answers to every question
they have. ... That doesn't mean they're going to like the answers. But it's
going to be truthful, and I know they can deal with the truth. This might
create additional questions, but we'll get through them. And we do."
3. Solves problems and analyzes issues
Ultimately, leaders are recruited, trained, and chosen to solve organizational
problems, and to take advantage of opportunities in the marketplace. This
requires not only excellent analytical abilities, but also above-average people
skills.
4. Drives for results
Some people are happy to sit back and watch the world go by, while others
aren't unless they are making things happen in their organizations. Great
leaders have a higher level of perseverance, stick-to-itiveness, and drive
than most anyone else, and they can be counted on to get things done.
5. Communicates powerfully and prolifically
Great leaders communicate with their people often, and in a variety of
different ways. Whether it's by means of one-on-one conversations, team
meetings, blog posts, email messages, phone or Skype calls, or any other
such medium, leaders don't talk about communicating--they just do it.
6. Builds relationships
Business is built on a solid foundation of relationships and trust. Without
these two things, you can't have a business, or at least not
a successful business. Take time every day to build relationships with the
members of your team, your customers and vendors, your boss and your
boss's boss, others in your industry, and your community. The stronger your
relationships, the better a leader you will be.
7. Displays technical or professional expertise
Most leaders start out in business with a specific skill, such as selling, or
accounting, or designing software. The best leaders build on their technical
and professional skills over time, becoming valuable experts in their
field and skilled at leading their team.

Great leaders have a long-term vision of the future, and they avoid getting
bogged down in the here and now. While they can be tactical when
necessary, they maintain the strategic outlook necessary to guide their
businesses to the best future possible.
9. Develops others
Just as they work to continuously develop and build their own technical and
professional expertise, the best leaders set aside time (and money in their
budgets) to develop their work force. They look for the most promising
employees, and provide them with the training they need to become their
company's next generation of great leaders.

Favorite Person in the family
• What is your relation with the person?
• When did you realize that he or she was your favorite person in the family?
• How do you spend time with the person?
There are 4 members in my family other than me. I have good relation with all of my family
members but my favorite person in the family is my brother. I like my brother a lot because
he is not only my brother, but also my friend.
The strange thing is that approximately 3 years ago I used to think that he is my enemy
because he always made fun of me, but one thing happened in my life which changed my
opinion about him. The thing is that I needed money for my business and asked my father
for the initial investment. My father said that my ideas would not develop into a viable a
business so he rejected my request. I was very worried, and to everyone’s surprise my
father came to my rescue. I never expected this thing from him. He sold his car to give the
money for the business. That day I realized that he loved a lot because when everyone
gave up on me he was the only one who helped me.
I mostly play cricket with him. We have been playing cricket for the last 10 years. I really
have fun when we play cricket with each other. The only thing which I do not like is that he
starts cheating whenever he realizes that he is going to lose the match. Other than that we
live in the same house so we are together in most of the family events and occasions.
OPINION ON POLITICS
Politics are just a necessary aspect of civilization. When a community becomes developed, opinions
naturally are formed about how things should be run. So i suppose yes, politics are good to help advance
humanity and learn from mistakes. They also cause a lot of conflict, and sometimes people let it become
too personal so it gets in the way of things like friendship, and sometimes people do things
underhandedly, but politics remain very necessary for society, even if they are unpleasant to deal with
sometimes. I personally think it's important to have a little knowledge and somewhat of an opinion on
different politics to really live your life culturally actively.
Smart work means same crow drinking water in a pot by using a straw.
For any need or help you could definitely rely on your neighbors at any hour
of the day. They are more friendly and more onto the traditional kind of
practices and believes and are not gadget or tech savvy people. For them,
the daily need to be met is itself taken as an enjoyment and all their works
are dived and shared and helped by each other.
When coming to the kind of food habits that people of both these places
follow; people living in cities are more vulnerable to many diseases because
of their sedentary lifestyle and fast food intake. With inappropriate exercising
and large intake of fast food, the fast moving crowd compromises on their
health which would have to be heavily paid off later in life. However, in
villages, people stick to the old homemade food habits and since
transportation is still to be up to the mark, a lot of exercising happens and
this helps them to remain fit and healthy in the long run.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
Coming to the health of people in regard with pollution. Since cities are
heavily populated and each member having vehicles, the amount of pollution
is extremely high in cities and this has led to great amount of pollution and
allergic diseases, even in small kids.
However, in villages the question of pollution does not come up to that level
of what it is there in cities and hence fresher and less polluted air is
available, which is good for both health and mind. People are more
systematic and scheduled and get their work done by themselves rather than
calling up or outsourcing the day to day household chores.
For more expansion and growth, one has definitely be at the cities as they
have more opportunities that would help one grow professionally. However,
to understand the moral values and culture of a state or a place, you
definitely need to spent some part of your life in a village and also to enjoy
and understand the beauty of nature in all its true colors and aspects. City
life is mostly preferred by the youth and youngsters who love to be trendy,
energetic and open to changes, while village life is opted by the elderly group
who wish to have a peaceful life.
