    LESSON PLAN

    Level : Basic / 1st graders

    Lesson : Things in the House

    Language Focus : carpet, curtain, clock, fan, calendar

    Lesson Objective : - Students are able to mention things in the house.

    - Students are able to memorize things in the house.

    Time : 10 minutes

    Media : flash card

    ACTIVITIES

    No Learning Activities Time


    1. Opening Activities - Teacher greets the students. 1 minutes
    - Teacher leads praying activity.
    2. Main Activity - Teacher asks the students to sing about 7 minutes
    things in the house together.

    - Teacher gives learning objective.
    - Teacher gives apperception to the students.
    - Teacher shows things in the classroom by
    using flash card.
    - Teacher leads the students to memorize the
    words by using pointing game. Students are
    divided into two groups. Then, teacher
    provides some words on the board. After
    that, teacher gives students stick or pointer.
    Next, teacher says a word, for example:
    “Curtain!”. Then, one of the students in
    each group try to be the first to point toward
    the word that is said by the teacher. The first
    one will get point.
    - Teacher asks the students one by one.
    - Teacher asks the students to sing again.
    - Teacher gives worksheet to the students.
    3. Closing Activities - Teacher asks the students about things that 2 minutes
    they have learnt.
    - Teacher closes the lesson.
