Q.NO QUESTIONS
1 A hexagonal plate with 30mm side and negligible thickness has its surface perpendicular to H.P. and
inclined at 450 to V.P. Draw its projections when one of the sides of the plane is parallel to and 15
mm in front of V.P.
2 A thin rectangular plate of size 60mm x 40 mm has its shorter edge on the HP. It is inclined such
that top view of plane appears as a square having 40 mm side.Draw its projections when edge
resting on the HP. Is inclined at 300 to VP.
3 A pentagonal prism having a base with 30 mm side and a 75 mm long axis has one of its rectangular
faces on HP. And the axis is inclined at 60 0 to VP. Draw its projections
4 A square prism of base side 40 mm and axis 60 mm rests on its base on HP. Such that one of the
vertical faces is inclined at 300 to the VP. A section plane perpendicular to VP, inclined at 450 to HP
passing through the axis at a point 20 mm from its top end cuts the prism. Draw its front view,
sectional top view and true shape of section.
5 A cylinder with 50 mm base diameter and 70 mm long axis, is resting on ground with its axis
vertical. A sectional plane inclined at 450 to H.P cuts the remaining generators. Draw the
development of its lateral surface.
6 A square prism having base with 50 mm side is resting on its base on HP. It is completely
penetrated by another square prism having base with 40 mm side, such that axes of both the prisms
intersect each other at right angles and faces of both prisms are equally inclined to V.P. Draw
projections of combination and show lines of intersection.
7 A cylinder with a 60 mm base diameter is resting on its base on the HP. It is penetrated by another
cylinder of 40 mm base diameter, such that their axes intersect each other at right angles. Draw the
projections of the combination and show the curves of intersection?
