CARPENTRY AND JOINERY WORKS:

The lumber shall be approved quality for the respective kinds required for the various parts of
the work, well-seasoned, thoroughly dried and free from large, loose or unsound knots sap, shapes or
other imperfections impairing its strength, durability and appearance.
All exposed woodwork shall be smoothly dressed and well sandpapered.
Execute all rough carpentry in the best substantial and work-man-like manner.

HARDWARE:

All rough hardware required for the completion of work, including nails, bolts, lag screws,
etc. and other fittings shall be installed in most appropriate manner.
Where the exact type of hardware specified is not available, suitable types having as nearly as
practicable the same operation and quality as the corresponding individual types specified may be
substituted.
