Laminate Cutting Blades

Specialist blades for cutting laminates. Cuts on the downstroke to avoid surface splintering.

Metal Cutting Jigsaw Blades

Blades available for every type of metal, including Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Non-Ferrous metals, sheet metal, pipes and also PVC. Some blades will cut metal up to 60mm thick, but check the packaging.

As a quick visual guide the more teeth per cm on the blade, the smoother, cleaner and more accurate the cut. Fast rough cutting blades will have less teeth. Tungsten carbon coated blades for ceramics, fibreglass, chipboard and tough materials.Manufactured from extra hard metal for longer life.

High carbon steel , designed for cutting softer materials, softwood, fibreboards and soft plastics.

HSS
Hardened high grade, high speed steel, perfect for cutting metal, aluminium and non-ferrous metals

BIM
Bi-Metal bond of HCS and HSS for repeated cutting in hardwood, hard plastics, nonferrous and ferrous metals. The blades last much longer than HCS and there is less risk of shank breakage.

HOLESAWS
A Piranha holesaw fitted in a drill is the most efficient way of making a perfectly round large diameter hole in a range of materials. The holesaw neatly cuts the perimeter of the hole, removing a cylindrical plug of material, as opposed to removing all the material as it drills. A wide selection of sizes are available, as well as two quality levels.

BIM for Metal and Wood

Combining the hardness of high speed steel teeth and the flexibility of a high carbon steel body. This superior holesaw cuts both wood and metal, and stays sharper longer.

You will need a mandrell to fit this holesaw to your power drill. These are available from Piranha.
