CLO3 Statement: Analyse well test data to perform well test interpretation.

Deadline: Monday, 28th January 2019

Problem: A pressure-drawdown test was run on a gas well in a newly discovered reservoir. Production
rate could not be kept constant during the test. The flowing BHP was constant at 1000 psia during the test.
From the well test analysis given in Table 1 and Table 2, reservoir engineer is required to provide a
comprehensive report on the below required information:

 Is this pressure drawdown test data is reliable and enough to estimate formation evaluation
parameters?
 Is the well producing as expected? If damage present is removed (if any), suggest improved rates?
 How much fluids are stored in the drainage area?
 Does the good agreement exist between all the methods used in analyzing the well test data?
 Re-produce the well test response of the well if the formation permeability and thickness are enhanced
to 100 md and 30 ft, respectively in a linear reservoir. Compare graphically with the actual response?
 Design the Well Deliverability test based on the data from this transient test.
