Literacy Lesson Plan
The seventh artifact included in this section is a literacy lesson plan that I created for a
hypothetical second grade class. The main focus of this lesson plan was guided reading
instruction while the main topic was learning about character traits. As the reader will be able to
tell by the end of this section I have the ability to create engaging lesson plans for students in the
general education population as well as accommodate and modify my lessons for the special
education population. I am also capable of adapting my lessons to the Common Core Curriculum
