presentation in front of the class.
g. The teacher will supplement the discussion of the students every after each
presentation.
C. Integration
1. Synthesis
The students shall complete the table below, presenting the similarities and
differences between plant and animal cell. Students will write the answers in their
notebook.
Cell Function Present in Animal Cells? Present in Plant Cells?
Cell Wall
Chloroplasts
Vacuole
Ribosomes

Checking of answers will follow.
2. Valuing
3 Words, 1 Concept
Choose at least ten (10) words in the box. Use these words to construct at least
three (3) meaningful sentences or statement using one concept, which is CELL
IMPORTANCE. Students will write the answer in their notebook.
(e.g. Discipline is highly needed for us individual to promote health and wellness. It is our
ultimate challenge to protect and preserve every minute creation made by God.
Through proper care and lifestyle, we can achieve the holistic growth and
development of the cells in our body.)
RESPECT CHALLENGE DISCIPLINE
RESPONSIBILITY HEALTH FITNESS DESTRUCTION PROTECT
SELFISHNESS WEALTH GROWTH OBLIGATION BEAUTY
CHANGE DEATH LIFESTYLE LIVE LOVE
INTEGRITY PRESERVE BLESSING CARE DUTY WELLNESS
HOLISTIC ATTAINMENT DEVELOPMENT ERADICATE
Students will share their ideas to the class
3. Evaluation
Venn diagram: Plants and Animal Cells
Students will write the similarities and differences between plant and animal cells
using the Venn diagram. They are given 3 minutes to accomplish the provided
task.
Scores will be written in their blue book.
The teacher will record the scores weekly.
V. ASSIGNMENT
To make a connection of the lesson to your life activities, answer the following questions briefly
and substantial. Write your answer in your notebook.
1. Compare two or three cell organelles to a certain structure inside your house. Give an
explanation for each comparison.
2. Compare the cell organelles to a large factory.
Day 4
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
A. observe prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell under the microscope;
B. compare and contrast the structures of the prokaryotic cells with that of the prokaryotic cells
using prepared slides;
C. manipulate the microscope correctly when focusing prepared slides of prokaryotic and
eukaryotic cells; and
D. manifest teamwork, cooperation and collaboration through the given activity on plant and
animal cell
