INTRODUCTION
With today’s hectic pace of life, our gardens have become much more than they once
more. No longer are they simply a practical necessity for drying clothes, growing veg or
exercising kids and pets. Neither are they purely ornamental, as the grounds of well-
healed households once were. Instead they must fulfil a wide range of roles, from the
traditional ones just mentioned to those which allow us to make more of our time;
relaxing, entertaining, working outdoors, and even improving the value of our houses.
This extended list of demands has meant that garden design has changed in recent years.
Once, well-groomed collections of beautiful and unusual plants were at the top of the
typical gardener’s wish list (and this, of course, still applies to a few traditionalists). Now,
however, space in which to relax and entertain is the priority often twinned with a desire
for a low-maintenance arrangement that doesn’t place too great a demand on the owner’s
time. We want gardens we can live in, not just utilise or admire, and this is why we need
good landscaping.

HISTORY
• Established in 2001, Usis Nursery & Landscaping started as a indigenous contractor

company class 'F' carry out work landscape.
• 30th June 1994, USIS Sdn. Bhd. was established with an aim to strengthen and make
an intensify efforts to the development of business company.
• Quality and productivity production of variety tree species diversity and the grass has
been enhanced and the addition of the nursery area of 28 acres, located in Lot 2381 Jalan
Felda Menggong, Alor Gajah.
• Emphasis on the quality of work, and the absorption of the idea in a project
development landscape, is the essence of inspiration for the development of the company
for opportunities and compete in th current market.
• We are committed and proffesional for development projects and ensure the trust given
by our clients, can be proved by the production of quality work.

CURRENT PROJECT
WATER GARDEN LANDSCAPE
There are few places more tranquil, more relaxing or more cooling on hot summer day
than a garden with a view of the water-even if the water is no more than a garden pool.
In the garden pictured here, two ponds filled with water lilies are used to create a tranquil
setting. The first pond is situated near the house, where it is visible from the indoors. The
deck is cantilivereed over the pond to enhance closeness of the water, and it is covered
with an overhead trellis, which ties the two areas together. The trellising also frames the
view of the pond from the deck, and of the deck from the garden areas
A second, smaller pond is set into the corner of the garden and has a backdrop of early-
spring flowering trees, ferns and shade-loving perennials. This intimate retreat is made
complete by setting a bench and planter pots beside the pond.
Throughout the property, river-rock paving enhances the natural feeling of the water and
provides a sitting area nearby for quiet contemplation.
Moss rocks, placed in strategic places in the garden, further carry out the naturalistic
theme, as do most of the landscape plants.
