Process Flow
Pre-Counselling Process
Process Status

Eligible Student List Collected and updated in the System

Mess Type Selection Selection Preference is given in the student login before
they can initiate payment.
Payment Provision to pay online and to pay in the counter is given.
Advance amount for the Room + Deadline to Pay online : 14/03/2017
Mess Amount Deadline to Pay in Counter : 15/03/2017

NCGPA Rank List Will be displayed on 15/03/2017 along with the Group,
slot, time and venue of the couselling for the students
who paid the fees. (SMS of the same will be sent a day
before) We avoided same NCGPA by taking 8 decimal
places in CGPA (No. Repetitions)
On the Day of Couselling
Steps Process Venue
1 Registration Anna Auditorium
•Student of the particular Group, Slot and
Time enters with his ID card.
•ID Card is scanned using the barcode
scanner
•The Registration Confirmation is sent
immediately as an SMS. (The status can even
be checked in his login)

2 Token No. Generation Anna Auditorium


•After the Registration time gets over the
token is generated for that particular slot.
•Token No. as SMS will be sent immediately.
The same can be viewed in Academic Login
too.
3 Counselling (Room Selection) CS Hall
Student will carry his friends ID card whom
he likes to have as his room mate along with
his ID card and the selection process is
carried out with help of Barcode Scanner

PROVISIONAL HOSTEL ROOM ALLOTMENT: 2017-18

Mr. XXXX XXXX, Reg. No. XXXXXXXX, studying B.Tech. Civil Engineering has been provisionally allotted
Room No.102 - (Single BEDDED Non-AC) in D BLOCK [NELSON MANDELA] with SPECIAL MESS for the
academic year 2017-18

The provisional room allotment will be confirmed only subject to the following criteria under any
circumstances.

1) On payment of the balance Hostel Fee of Rs. XXXXX.XX/- on or before 10thMay, 2017.
2) On payment of the Tuition Fees for the academic year 2017 – 18 on or before 4thMay, 2017.
3) Upon Course Registration (FFCS) for the academic year 2017-18.

Authorized Signatory

Note: Students who intend to withdraw their allotted room may submit their request before 31st May
2017 so that they can get their refund amount in full. Allotted rooms should be accommodated
immediately on commencement of Fall Semester 2017-18. Request to withdraw the allotted room after
31st May 2017 WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. Refund in such cases will be as per VIT norms.
