 About the College

KCG College of Technology (A unit of Hindustan Group of Institutions) was found in 1998 to full the vision of Founder-
Chairman, Dr KCG Verghese "Making Every Man a Success and No Man a Failure". The College is afliated to Anna
University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The College offers twelve undergraduate programmes and four
postgraduate programmes. Four Under-graduate programmes-Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and
Communication, Information Technology & Mechanical Department are accredited by National Board of Accreditation
(NBA). The college is accredited by NAAC with A+ grade. The college has been listed in the 201-250 bank among the
Engineering institutions in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Five departments - CSE, ECE,
EEE, Mechanical Engineering and Physics - have been approved Research centres by Anna University to Offer PhD
programmes. The campus of KCG College of Technology is beautifully landscaped in a lush green stretch of land spread
over 38 acres at Karapakkam which is about 10 km from Adyar on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, the IT corridor of
Chennai.

 Rules and Regulations

Rule : The tournament will be played under the latest FIDE rules.
Rate of Play : 90 minutes each, plus 30 seconds increment per move from move one.

AICF Player Registration: AICF Player registration is compulsory for all players. AICF Player Registration feeis `250/-
for the year 2022-2023. As per latest AICF regulations, all AICF registrations will be accepted only through online.
Players / Arbiters registration should be done well before the start of the Tournament. For renewing AICF Registration of
existing players, please click http://aicf.in/players/.
For fresh AICF Registration please click http://aicf.in/online-player-registration/
For fresh AICF registration, players are requested to keep their scanned passport size photograph and birth cer ticate
and a valid email address (unique) not used by any other person/player for AICF, ready before the registration process.
Note: Only passport size (less than 1MB) photograph in JPEG format should be uploaded
Tie-break: Latest AICF tie-break rules will be applied. In case of tie, Prize money will not be shared
Protests: Protests, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee of `1000/-
within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident to the appeals committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the
appeal is upheld.
Appeals Committee: An Appeals Committee comprising of ve members will be formed at the players meeting.
The decision of the appeals committee is nal and binding on all players concerned.
Withdrawals: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the Chief Arbiter in writing.
Boarding: Players responsibility - Canteen facility is available at venue on nominal charges
Lodging: Unfurnished dormitory type of lodging will be provided ONLY for Outstation players
Entry Fee: Free for IMs, WIMs, FMs, WFMs | `1000 for others
