The colours of love
Description:
Lovebird comprises of a diverse and colourful group of parrots, originated from
Africa. When kept in pairs, they will constantly groom each other and sit as close as possible together when sleeping or resting. Having distinctive features, as illustrated in this picture, there are two different species of lovebird, namely, Peach-faced Lovebird (Agapomis roseicollis) of vibrant colours and Cockatiels lovebird (Nymphicus hollandicus), a grey-coloured lovebird. Even though kept in a cage, the striking, vibrant colours of this species still managed to tempt visitors, like me to get a decent photograph of them, leaving a memorable moment of them on screen. Lovebird differs in contrasting number of colours such as green, red, yellow and blue, each creating an eye-catching mixture of colours to its viewers. Unique colours, especially green, blends in very well with nature .Biodiversity is the terms of variety of life, as illustrated, even among various species of lovebirds, they still enjoy seeds and vegetables, living harmoniously in the same cage.
