    Tea / Coffee volunteers needed please sign up
    to help in September and October The House block quilt that was the members
    challenge last year has been put together and
    We will have a sign up list at each meeting for beautifully quilted. You have a chance to win
    volunteers for the following months meeting. this by entering our calendar raffle at 1 a go.
    Please ensure you take your turn at serving tea /
    coffee during the forthcoming year. The calendar will be at all future meetings
    until all days have been taken.
    Exhibition The world around me,
    inspired by the Wrexham Tailors Quilt which was made
    in 1842 by a Victorian tailor called James Williams.

    The exhibition is on display from 12th May until 25th


    November 2017 at the Wrexham Museum.

    If you have any ideas for speakers, demonstrators,
    workshops etc please let us know.
    In particular if you are new to quilting and would like
    a workshop based around certain techniques please

    ARK at Chester Cathedral
    Free entry, until 15 Oct 2017
    ARK is the largest sculpture exhibition to be held in the
    north west of England and features 90, three
    dimensional works by over 50 internationally renowned
    sculptors including Damien Hirst, Sir Antony Gormley,
    Lynn Chadwick, Barbara Hepworth, Sarah Lucas, David
    Mach, Kenneth Armitage and Peter Randall-Page,
    amongst others.
