<MsgOriginalSubject> - If the message is a reply, forward or ack

<MsgOriginalBody> - If the message is a reply, forward or acknow

message had.
<MsgOriginalXML> - If the message being composed is a reply, for
ward or acknowledgement to a message that was sent with a form attachment, this
tag inserts the XML code with the form data that was attached to the original me
ssage. If this is a new message, it inserts nothing.

Major new feature: The use of html forms to collect information from use
rs. This is similar to using <ask...> and <select...> fields in templates,
but it provides the full power of html including JavaScript, cascading s
tyle sheets, etc.
Here is an outline of how to use forms with RMS Express:
1. Create an html (web) form.
2. Store the html file(s) in the forms folder associated with a callsign
.
3. Create a template file that has a "Form:..." line listing the name of
the form file.
4. If you wish to have the data from the form packaged into an XML file
and attached to the message, specify the name of the html file that should be us
ed to display the data on the receiving end.

d instructions and examples.

Two columns of icons have been added to the message list: the first has
an icon for file attachments, the second has icons for the state of the message.
You can click on the paper-clip icon for a file attachment to open the f

Reading a message in the Inbox no longer moves the message to Read Items
by default. You can right click on the message to do that.
You can click File/Preferences to access a new preferences screen with o
ptions for e-mail actions.
You can press the Delete key to move the currently selected message to t
he Deleted Items folder.

Enhance connection resillience to during periods of DNS instability
Added a message reader popup window (somewhat like Outlook). This allows you to
open a
separate non-modal window(s) to read a message and to size the window to fit
the message
without disturbing the screen setting for the primary program. It is invoked
by double
clicking on a line in the displayed message list.
Added a WL2K query catalog . The catalog can be down loaded automatically by ope
ning the WL2K
catalog dialog box and clicking on the Request Catalog Update button. If Inte
rnet is available
it downloads nearly instantly. If not a radio message is posted requesting it
. If the catalog
came in by radio it is intercepted by the code an updates without user interv
ention.
Added GPS / position report / weather report facility. The GPS is optional bu
t does increase the
usefulness of this facility. If the GPS is enabled then the grid square is au
tomatically updated.
The GPS parses the $GPRMC string from the GPS. The data for the position repo
rt can be entered
manually or taken from the GPS. If the user designated Marine Mobile Amateur in
the RMS Express
setup dialog then he may also expand the position report to include a marine
weather report.
These reports go to the NWS (via YOTREPS) as an aid in high seas forecasting.
