Core Qualifications
The instructional design team at Indiana State Online has
helped coordinate the launch of multiple online degree
initiatives to now offer more than 60 programs.
When working with instructors, my design-oriented approach
focuses on student perspective, instructor needs, and learning
outcomes in efforts to present reasonable solutions that
address online pedagogy, improving instruction with alignment
and meeting a viable level of quality in the expectation of
learning.
As a Quality Matters (QM) Master Reviewer, the experiences in
the course review process have enriched my techniques in
constructive feedback on course design, project management,
and team leadership.
Each semester our team co-teaches an online instructor
certification course, for new online course development,
promoting QM standards, online pedagogy and proven
instructional strategies resulting in over 200 certified
participants since 2012.
Indiana State Online instructional designers are often involved
in the research and testing of new university software, which
leads to us to collaborate in the development of multimedia
tutorials, guides, and learning technology solutions.
