Subject: TIMBER CREEK SITE

Dear Mr. Marlowe,

Some observations seem appropriate now that the laying of wiring and conduits for Phase I of
the Timber Creek site is being finalized. It is my understanding that a high percentage of Timber
Creek residents likely will be first-time home buyers.

Cost will be an important criterion; but on the basis of our previous experience with this type of
development, other factors should be considered. Our model homes should reflect todays
informal life-style. The use of a great room rather than both a family room and a living room is
one way to reduce costs. Also, since both the husband and wife in most homes will work outside
the home, there should be two-car garages. We have also found that many people like the option
of leaving certain areas unfinished; these can be finished later as the family grows and as finance
permit.

I shall be happy to meet with you to discuss these concerns.

Sincerely,

Doug Nestell
Sales Director

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schadt
2311 Northeast 41st Street St.
Charles, MO 65033

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Schadt:

You are invited to participate in our mortgage life insurance plan that could leave your family a
home without house payments. We recommend this program for our home loan customers
because it provides important protection at an affordable price.

While there are many types of insurance, only mortgage life insurance is designed exclusively to
pay off the mortgage balance if you were to die.

Even if you already have a life insurance plan, you will want to consider mortgage life insurance
as a low-cost, attractive supplement.

Because so many households rely on two wage earners to make mortgage payments, we have
selected a plan that can insure a second person at Half-price.

I think you will agree that this protection is almost a necessity, but you may be concerned about
cost. We have carefully chosen a plan that can fit your budget. We are pleased to offer this
important customer service and encourage you to apply today, while it is available at these
attractive rates. To apply, please call 1-800-555-3255.

Sincerely,
Jonathon Baker

Dear Julie Plec,

As you know, I am involved with the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF). Im really proud to be
involved with such great organization that strives to provide better doctors to us all. Today, I
hope youll consider a gift to ISF.

While ISFs mission is to create tomorrows pro-choice physicians, its so much more than that.
Advocating for better reproductive education in medical schools throughout Philippines doesnt
just benefit women it impacts all of us.

I volunteer my time with ISF, and I am also a donor. Its important to me to support the mission
through my time and my charitable money because making sure women dont struggle through
maternity is something we should all strive for. Im now asking you to do the same, please
consider a gift to Ian Somerhalder Foundation this year. I can ensure you that what ISF does
makes a real difference and your gift will send medical students to educational conferences.
I hope you will support ISF today with a gift, and join me as a proud advocate of real change.

Sincerely,

Caroline Forbes

P.S. Please write the school groups name on the memo line of your checks so that it is properly

Dear Ms. Robertson:

Thank you for your letter of October 15, 1996, concerning the possibility of the Translation
Bureau accepting students from your program for spring practicums. It gives me pleasure to
inform you that the Bureau will again be hosting students interested in one-to-three-month

I should point out, however, that owing to budgetary constraints, there may be
fewer places available this year.

To facilitate matters, I would ask you to have the attached forms filled in by candidates and to
return them to me by February 21, 1997, either by fax (my number is 997-7743) or by mail.

Subject: Employee Commute Options Survey

We are conducting a commuting survey this week among all employees. The purpose of the
survey is to discover what methods we currently use to commute and what alternative methods
are of most interest. The survey is required by Department of Environmental Qualitys Employee
Commute Options (ECO) rules. These rules are part of the Portland area clean air plan to keep
the air clean in light of air pollution associated with continued growth in the region.

ECO requires employers to provide employees with incentives to use alternatives to driving
alone to work. The results of the survey will be used by Business Communication Center to
design a transportation program that reflects the needs and desires of the Business
Communication Center employees.
The survey will be distributed via e-mail on August 5, 2015. Please take a couple of minutes to
fill out the survey and return in by August 10, 2015. If you have questions, please contact the
Human Resource Office.

We will share the results with you in the employee newsletter when they are completed.

Thanks for your participation,
