COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course covers the fundamentals of occupational safety and health in the working
environment. These include the implementation and regulation of Occupational Safety
and Health Act (OSHA) in Malaysia. The course also covers the identification of
occupational health and industrial hazards. The types of hazards included in this course
are industrial hazard, mechanical hazard, chemical hazard, physical hazard and psychosocial hazard. Besides that, the course also emphasizes on accident causation,
investigation and analysis. Occupational Safety and health management system will also
be covered.
