Using the tenon saw, cut the measured pieces

Disc-sander

Using the discsander, sand the pieces of timber


until they are all the same size.

Miter saw

Draw 45 degree angle lines on the timber


where the miter joint will be cut. Using the miter
saw, saw the timber using the markings.

Chisel and dovetail saw

Mark out a channel of lines where the housing


joint will be on the timber. Cut along the lines
with a dovetail saw. Using a router and a
chisel, clean out the excess timber to ensure
correct accuracy,

Using the band-saw cut the piece of plywood


then insert plywood on the back of the storage
box

Measure and cut timber for lid

Using the band-saw, cut the piece of timber for


the front of the storage box with the bandsaw.

Join lid to box

Power drill

Mark out where box barrel hinges will be


placed. Using a drill, drill nails onto the hinges.
Attach the lid.
