Capgemini came to our college(VNR VJIET) on 6th Sep-2016 for campus recruitment.

Online Aptitude Test
=================
The online test was conducted by cocubes at mrng 10:00 am.
The test consist of totally 32-Questions (*Duration-50 min*)
16-Questions from Quantitative Aptitude.
16-Questions from Reasoning.
No Negative.
->Its important for every one to clear this test with sectional cut-off " to go for further round".
->Questions were moderate difficult ,one who practiced very well can easily score good marks.
Online Written English Test(*Duration 30 min*)

In this there is only one Question ,we will be asked to write an essay about any given topic , minimum of 300
words.
->This is very easy section , one having basic english skills can easily clear it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We were asked to wait at auditorium for the 1st round online test results.
->total 240/630 students cleared the first round, this says how important it is to clear aptitude&reasoning "1st
round" test.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------100 Students have their interviews on that day itself and remaining(mine) have on the next day.

->We need to fill an application form of capgemini and attach our updated resume,photographs,xerox of
certificates upto(3_2 sem)
I was Called for HR first,which made me shockkkkkkkk.
*****HR & TR were going on simultaneously.****

->I went into the panel,there was only one lady member.
->She asked my filled application form(resume attached to it)
->She had a glance at my resume and xerox copy of my memo's.
->I was well prepared about Questions related to company i.e (Why capgemini??,About Capgemini??? and all those
kind to impress them)
->HR lady was very friendly talking and noting down my feedback on My application form while I am answering
,which will be kept with them nd send for further round.
->It was about 10 min.
Few Questions were:-------------1.Tell me About Yourself.
2.Further question based on ur Introduction(Tell me about Yourself) answer,give an impressive self intro.
3.Asked to say About my family.
4.Asked about my Strengths.
5.Asked for a situation where you shown your strength(prepare for this question as most of HR will ask to prove
Your strength).
6.Basic HR questions related to relocation,Service Agreement,Job profile.
--------------------------Thats all HR over ,I gave the impressive answers very confidently.(Few of them were rejected at HR itself without
attending TR, as I said TR&HR were going on simultaneously)
My application forwarded to Technical round.
----------------------------Technical Round

I was called for Technical round soon after completion of my HR.
->I entered panel room ,only one lady member was there.
->Asked me to introduce myself.
->during my intro she took a glance on my resume and my application form.
->Though she was looking strict, actually she was not that much strict.
->It was about 25 min.
->She was noting my grades while i was answering questions.
Few Questions were:-------------------1.Tell me about your Project.(Explained her clearly and Confidently)
2.Did you do any other projects other than this.(No)
3.What is your role in the project.(said)
4.What is Trigger.(answered )
5.Explain situation where triggers are used.(answered but not perfectly, said I dont know much about triggers)
6.What is Semaphore(answered)
7.What is deadlock(answered)
8.What is OOPs(answered)
9.What is Method Overloading and Method Over Riding(answered)
10.What are Threads(answered)
11.Write a program on threads(I said i just know the methods and cant write program on threads)
12.Write Program of your choice then?(Wrote a program on Inheritance and expalined her)
-------------------------Thats all TR over,I was Not much satisfied about this round as I made some mistake in the code written by me.
I answered remaining questions very well which ignited me a hope about the job.(Few of them Rejected from TR
Itself without Attending HR,as I said TR&HR were going on simultaneously)
-----------------------------------Finally came home, waiting for a mail from college for results(183/630 selected).
Thats it done!!!!!

*****If you cleared aptitude 1st round you are 70% into the company,as most of the filtration would be done in
this round****
**If TR is cleared 90% is done, filtration will be less compared to 1st round***
**Finally HR where most of the people who attended it would get selected irrespective of very few people**

Coming to 1st round, it was latest pattern of Capgemini consisting of 32 questions 16 from quants and 16 from reasoning
which was conducted by Cocubes. There was a sectional cutoff of 12 and the overall cutoff was more than 24 and in essay
writing, they check your grammatical errors which you should not and the minimum number of words were 300 and
maximum
is
400
words.
It was very easy to clear, it will be an added advantage if you attempt or practice on Cocubes because there were some
questions that appeared in 1st round. In essay the topics were like Smoking, Heal Earth Heal Yourselves, Social Media,
Facebook & Whatsapp, Human becoming technology dependent, effects of Mobiles on teens, Veg vs Non-Veg, Teaching
methods in India, Legal age for drinking, Illiteracy is cause of all issues in society, Online shopping vs Normal shopping.

Technical:
It was depending on the candidate but mostly they were asking about Projects, C Basic Programs. I was just asked about
my
Project.
3rd
Round
H.R:
They were just checking the Confidence levels and our thought process. They asked me questions like,

Introduction.

drives?
Do
you
have
any
questions
for
us?
- Do ask any thing that is related to Company's Goal or Vision it results a Positive Impression on you.

I am Ankita Kedia from Bengal College of Engineering & Technology, Durgapur. I want to share my experience with
Capgemini conducted by cocubes. Although I was not selected after the first round but I am sharing this as it was a really
bad
experience
of
my
own.
Everything was arranged by cocubes and from the very beginning, starting from having mail to the aptitude round they had
so much technical issues. First of all, many of our classmate didn't get mail from capgemini though they were enough
eligible to appear, only 4 of us got that mail, then on the day of campusing they said that mail is not important and whoever
is
meeting
the
eligibility
criteria
can
sit
for
the
test.
After that, at the mean time of test, the images of reasoning questions were not uploaded due to their technical issues and
they said us to leave those questions, but the questions were too much easy that anyone can pass in that test. The
questions were like average of 5 numbers, percentage of a number, etc. I was confident that I will be selected because all of
my
answers
were
correct.
