Society had evolved and with it had technology.Long time ago, around 50 years
ago thinks like Laptop, phone with touch screen, IPad or application like Facebook
,Yahoo were SF. Now this seem to be an essential part of our live.Internet is used not
only by teens but now third generation person used it.Nowadays, books are a rare item,
they are collected or held in museum.In the future we will see books and important
literature work only there.But the thinks were different some centuries ago when every
information was printed on paper.Books are an important part of our history, they help
us understand the story better, to feel the intensity of the action by keeping a book in
our hand.It a feeling that a computer or virtual information cant offer us.Is true that
internet help us getting the informations faster and we can acces them more easyer.We
can have a long discussion about the pro and cons of internet and books, we can even
write a book or a study, open a blog and talk about this but always there will be two way
of this- the good and bad part in books and internet.
Firstly, modern society is so fast that people need to find out the news
quickly,efficient because sometimes they dont have time to read them.So its a
common thing seeing business man, working man and other person reading the news
in public spaces, when they travel from home to work.Most of them, especially young
man or person that have intelligent phone with internet connection read the news
onlinein real time.For some this is a way to obtain information easily, without spending
many for newspaper every morning.So, the right question is what value does book and
paper have in this society?Is true that there are traditionalists, person that like to read
the news with a newspaper in hand, that like to feel the touch of the paper. Internet
advantage compared with books summarize in the effectiveness of using.To have a
book with you every day is hard for most people, especially if you need to take a heavy
luggage.In this case, having a phone or a tablet with internet connection, an application
for news and books can easy your life.Also , if you are an indecisive person that cant
choose only one book to read it helps you too, because you can store on your device a
library. Internet and the its associated applications can be very useful for the education
system.Teens are more passionated with the technology that woth books or
informations printed on paper, so using this method can make the education system
seem more accessible.In school or college you need to use a lot of books, paper and
you must earn a lot of information and this is a weight both physical and mental for
every student.For exemple, if a student have to read in a school semester 10 books for
a class, he must carry a lot of thinks in his school bag,But if thestudy materials are on a
tablet, laptop or on internet, the student has to carry less and learn fast and with
pleasure.So , today, internet is more useful in some departements that are printed
books and for sure, in the future the difference between this sourse of information will
be bigger.
Alternatively, internet is a portal for mass manipulation or for person without
knowledge that write paper for students without an academic foundation.This can help
students or person that want to find information in a particular field to be mislead, to be
taught wrong.So a book , that can be find in a school/ college library or in a bookstore
offer more accurate information.We know that kids, even in kindergarden, when they
receive a project or a homework they use the computer.Today, most children have not
keep in hand a book of stories or a book full of picture for them.Even coloring books are
online,our children learn to use a mause before a pen.We dont need to talk about the
bad influence that today online books can have for children.Long time ago, we had story
about fairy and prince and now, today youngs man read and hear stories about warriers
and wars. So internet have a negative effect on our mentality, our behavior.Plus, using
the internet, the computer or performant phones, we forget hoq is to have a book in our
hand, how a paper feel when we touch.Soon, books will be seen in a museum, will
became rare artifacts, so we should use them, read a book at least once a year and
teach our child that books are not meaningless papers but papers full of knowledge and
dreams.
Thirdly, there is a new trend about books that says that they are the enemy of
forest,To make the paper which is printed we need to cut a lot of trees, so this has a
negative effects on the environment.Forest help us by giving oxygen which is vital for
our live, and books, paper and all the things that resembles are the enemy.If we look at
this problem from this point of view, we see that the internet is more useful, not only for
tons of informations we find on it but for the environment.To print a book we need to
kill a lot of trees, and the information once is on the paper do not disappear- paper can
not be reused.Regarding internet, the informations are there, can be find easy by typing
the key word, and you can delete what you do not need anymore easily.The internet can
be used as a data based that can contain more informations, books and documents that
a library or a bookstore, and has the advantage of storing these in a small space.
In conclusion, both books and internet has a lot of advantages and
disadvantages.Both can be used in parallel in school, college or for everyday
activities.The important difference between this two is that internet brings informations
faster to people and can be accessed at every hour,Or if you need to find an information
without internet you need to find a place that sell newspaper and that can be
troublesome sometimes.In today society, that move fast forward, informations and
knowledge are important, amd if papers and books do not adapt to this trend, they might
soon disappear.
