Introduction
1.1 Introduction
Greetings and welcome to the first release of the Oldschool RuneScape Handy Factsheet. Keep in mind this is a
work in progress and currently, doesn't look nearly as polished as the first official release will. This started out
because I was bored, nothing more and nothing less. I believe this will eventually become an invaluable tool for
both newbies and veterans alike.
answer is to try quests and just find something you enjoy doing. Generally the person who asks this question
replies with What are some good quests to start out with? A good guide can be found here, here or here.
Questing is a great way to begin the game as it introduces you to it in addition to unlocking new content and
sometimes resulting in invaluable rewards.

Quick Guides
3.1 Combat
Combat is exactly as the name implies. Engaging in a fight with either monsters (PVM(Player vs. Monster)) or
other players (PVP(Player vs. Player)). There are 3 ways to engage in Oldschool RuneScape, Melee with the use
of swords, maces, spears, axes etc. Ranged with the use of bows, crossbows, javelins etc. Magic with the use of
runes and staves. This results in a combat triangle resembling scissors, paper, rock. Melee beats Ranged, Ranged
beats Magic, Magic beats Melee. Of course, there is much more to it than this which you will come to learn.
3.2 Moneymaking
Here we're going to explore ways in which you can increase your cash stack to purchase better gear or use to train
further. Generally speaking, the best money making methods will require higher levels or be more tedious than the
alternative.
3.3 Skilling
Relating to anything non-combat, skilling is a rewarding experience for doing little. The big ones are
Woodcutting, Fishing, Cooking, Fletching, Mining and Hunter.
In-Depth Guides
4.1 Woodcutting
Woodcutting is used to gather logs from trees with an axe. You do not need to be able to equip the axe to use it,
having it in your inventory with the required level will suffice. As your woodcutting level increases you will be
able to cut higher level trees and use better axes, higher levels and better axes result in obtaining logs quicker.
Below are tables outlining the available axes, available trees and the log and xp rate per hour.
