REFLECTION SESSION:
What went well?
Unfortunately, this class was not meaningful since there was too much indiscipline
and it effected radically the teaching process.
How do you know that?
It was impossible to scaffold the learning due to the students behavior and the
general aim was not achieved.
What didnt go that well?
Pitifully, this class was not meaningful. The students did not want to pay attention
and during the class they produced too much indiscipline. It was really difficult for
teachers to control the students because they were over-excited. At the beginning of
the class, the teachers calmed the learners down during some minutes, but they
continued with the same behavior.
During the board game the students did not follow the instructions and they did not
express what was happening in the image where the piece was placed. Due to that
teachers decided to cancel the activity and move on to the next task.
What would you do different next time?
1. It is important to identify if the learners are over-excited in order to implement
strategies to keep discipline.
2. The exams or quizzes should be handed out at the end of the class not at the
beginning because it interrupts the pace of the Lesson.
3. If the students are over-excited, the teachers should not develop activities
outside the classroom.
