VM 401.
The movement towards more larger and
heavier pavers and slabs is ongoing. This
begs the question for many paver
installers, whether existing machinery is
capable to cope with the requirements
of the market which is constantly
developing. Probst is opening up entirely
new perspectives, introducing more
comfort and considerable cost saving
with the new Laying Machine VM 401
The VM 401 is one of these workhorses
technically advanced and causing
genuine enthusiasm within the market.

There is no problem to lift heavy

products with a 600 kg carrying capacity.
It is possible to drive the VM 401
everywhere including small gaps, small
areas and parking places, because of the
wide pivoting range of approximately
1.600mm and its excellent manoeuvrability.
Because of the high lifting height of
1.600mm it is no problem to pick up
material of two stacked packages.

VM 203 is an all round versatile machine
and suitable for laying all paving stone

3- cylinder diesel engine and proves its
worth by equipment, power, quality and
fast amortisation.
You will not find almost any dierences
between the VM 203 and VM 401,

Paving installation - more than just a job!

HVZ herring bone 45 - the ideal solution for bigger

areas of herring bone pattern. This type of clamp
handles 45 packed layers of stones and allows an
installation without filling gaps by adding stones.

Installation Clamp HVZ- uni - ease of

installation, economics assured!
You can find flexibility of HVZ- uni within
all the supported structures. The HVZuni is easily attached to the VM203,
VM204 and VM401 and also excavators
and wheel loaders.
The handling and installation is typically
Probst easy and without any extra
specialised tools.
Particularly the adjustment of the
installation format is really easy. HVZ- uni
has, like all installation claps by Probst- a
release mechanism, the pushing o
device ADV. So you are able to economize time and human- resource allocation.

HVZ GENIUS - hydraulic installation

clamp for universal use with excavators.
Works without electricity and requires
only one hydraulic circuit for the
gripping and automatic shifting process.
Therefore it enables just one operator to
install large areas accurately and quickly.
Fits to all common types of excavators
from 3.5 tonnes dead weight and can be
mounted or dismounted in no time at all.
The HVZ GENIUS can be set up quickly to
grip widths ranging from 580 to 1470
mm. You too can benefit from the

With 240 kg net weight, introducing the
light-weight alternative to the big
GENIUS. Again, just one hydraulic circuit

and also with a hydraulic endless rotator
it is just as easy to use . The HVZ GENIUS
basic allows rapid and standard laying
work even in dicult conditions.

laying process is spent on paving and
material transport. This number makes it
obvious that even with manual installation
there is a huge potential for savings. At
the beginning all stone packages are
within easy reach and this increases as the
job advances row by row. Less walking
means more laying performance - Probst
has the economical solution for every
application.
Paver Transport Cart VTK-V
Designed to transport steel strapped or
loose pavers, kerb stones, slabs or other
stone material quickly, safely and much
more ergonomically than with a barrow.
After only 900 square meters this investment has normally already paid for itself
and the benefits are there to see.

The VTK-V can be retrofitted with a

supporting wheel and thereby relieving
the operator additionally. Proven fact
the VTK-V significantly reduces the

performance. Two paver workers can

transported.

Three versions of the Pallet-Cart PW are

available:

layer by layer mechanically (not readyto-install configuration, color mix is
required, etc.) this attachment for
laying machines, small loaders or mini
excavators can be used to transport
complete rows (slices) from the pack
of pavers to the place of installation
eciently.
One row of pavers can be picked-up
quickly and fail-safe followed by
pinpoint positioning close to the
laying face.
Allows for ecient one-man operation
when using an additional hydraulic
rotator with the carrier.
Optional extra equipment:
Wide range of special grippers available, such as rotating grippers to turn
concrete elements from horizontal to
vertical position.

It is no problem to transfer a pallet with
stones on site quickly. It is really simple
with the Pallet- Cart PW which was
particularly designed for working on
building sites.
The large wheels run easily and smoothly
on uneven ground unlike with the
exhausting pulling and dragging with
conventional lift trucks.

PW I and PW II: the fork ends have to be

positioned under the pallet, and the rear
wheel set is attached. The complete unit
is then lifted by means of a hydraulic
cylinder.

PW III: the pallets are approached sideways.

paver joints for small and medium sized areas. Filling material
