Request:
During excavation for the new accessible pathway coming from Guadalupe street towards the existing light tower on the east side of
the seating area, existing conduits have been exposed. The existing conduits are in the direct path of the new accessible path. The
new conduits appear to be low voltage.
Please provide direction.

OTTO CONSTRUCTION
Response:
1) Existing feeders shall be intercepted via new 2'x4'x4' concrete electrical hand holes per
keynotes 3 & 10 on sheet E1.1 . See attached 2x4 hand hole detail for reference.
2) Existing conduits that have been exposed (as shown on pictures in this RFI) shall be
confirmed if will still be used for theatre operation . If yes, intercept the existing conduits and
wires and relocate per General Electrical Note F on sheet E0.1. Use 2'x2'x2' concrete
electrical handholes for of up to 2" diameter conduit, see attached 2x2 handhole detail for
reference. See item 1 handhole size for larger conduits.
3) Provide separate handholes when intercepting different systems. Electrical handholes
shall be separate from low voltage handholes such as hand holes for communication
system, FA system, controls.
4) See attached duct detail for reference when running underground conduits to intercept
existing.
